In addition, folks are bored of the status quo and are looking for someone to blame. There are no stakes on LS-RP anymore. Get cut off by a faction for moving too heavy? Just hit some friend of a friend up on Discord and he'll supply drop you 20 fresh M4s. Got a problem with another faction? Just close ranks with your buddies and sit on their hood with nametag hacks until they log in. Faction strike? No problem, just close down and make a new thread lifted straight from ChatGPT/Wikipedia. On the LEO side, the only stakes have been the ones upheld by the leadership. PD/SD members sinking to the new "standard" of DM instead of trying to rise above it and power through it should be treated accordingly. They're the only type of faction on the server with no incentives against causing havoc beyond the slim possibility of accumulating enough punishments to be unignorably toxic players.

I’ma say it from the SD side, since that’s the faction I’m in right now, even tho I been in PD and SD too. The standard (talking RP standards on LSRP) dropped heavy, I run into folks almost daily that can’t even write English right. And when the server standard drops, the LSPD/LSSD standard to RP serious and detailed like before drops too. The server been Koky’s DM spot for a long time now, just don’t carry that name. Players DM LSPD/LSSD every single day, I die at least twice daily bcause someone decide to Driveby an OSS unmarked car. Economy and guns on the server? Completely fucked up. Folks got like twenty Deagles stashed, so dying to LSPD or LSSD ain’t no problem, they just pull out the same gun again

Black Organized Crime in modern day Los Angeles is decentralized - heavily rooted in prison networks, streetgangs, and out of state DTO's using the city as their stomping grounds. Our faction hosts a wide variety of characters to accurately reflect this. Great attention is placed on fostering long-running storylines that tie every person in the faction together, as well as offer depth to each individual one's portrayal. as far as i know Harlows they’ve been happy with SD side of roleplay, speaking of OSSB, though. I believe that “shift” truly happened due to overall drop of standards serverwide, can’t blame PD/SD when they are faced with subpar roleplayers and dmers majority of the time compared to very minimal genuine roleplay going on. You may seem to roleplay properly with law enforcement agencies, but you gotta bare in mind the fact that a great majority of LEO interactions result in subpar outcomes thanks to the mentality of many players just unable to let go of their weapons when asked to step out of a vehicle for a violation, thats an example. take a moment to scroll through faction threads related to LEO factions you will notice genuine roleplay, passivity, and showcase of the actual core of faction all around, “robocop” attitude is highly frowned upon anyways by both factions. Overall standards serverwide have shifted, PD/SD just accommodated to the downhill wave of roleplay going on.
