Here's what screws my head up a little too. The DOC have a place way out in the desert to do their job and keep their eye on the prisoners. Meanwhile, the people who wind up getting caught by police actually get teleported to prison after they're processed. Why?
I mean, why do we spend all this time trying to make things copasetic for our illegal roleplayers (which I am) with our guns and our drugs, and our different variations of those, and turfs, this, and that, and blah blah blah blah blah, we're over here skipping the entire process of being a law enforcement roleplayer. Why do people get teleported at all except for when they break rules?
If a criminal can commit a crime at any given point in time, they create roleplay for the cops who can make an arrest. They should process the criminal. Charge them with crimes. Transport them to the courthouse to see a judge. A judge can arraign them. A lawyer can defend them. If their lawyer isn't available there are a bunch of other lawyers at the courthouse who can be hired for their time on the spot, already on another job. An SD person can run a pat down and walk them to and from the courtroom. SD is also usually responsible for transporting people from the courthouse to the county jail or the prison, but we only have a prison. Why are they not roleplaying that either? Why aren't there wardens and DOC inside of the prisons handling the arrival of newcomers? Criminals only have to stay in the prison for like 30 minutes before they can teleport back out of there with /parole. Where are the parole officers? Where are the people let people who made bail or bond in X amount of time helping people out of the prison and putting them outside the gate?
There's just so much roleplay we're missing thanks to this script not having what it needs for the realistic change people are calling for. And I hope the devs change that when they can, and the ones who really want it will suggest it, and patiently wait for it to be scripted in. As long as people see that certain realistic changes are in the process of being made so that people become interested again. Perhaps we have a few people joining again before the arrival of the new addition to the script? That'd be nice too.
Yeah, it's a lot. Well, from what I'm reading, we're asking for a lot. But a change in the general attitude of how roleplay should be conducted is not asking for a lot. And if all we take from this entire discussion is that we need to change our attitudes about trying new things, I'd be happy with that as well. -

I happen to be one of those people who roleplay lawyers, yeah. The thing about that is, procedures like court hearings take a shitload amount of work in the background rather than just showing up and winging it. Now, in a game, not everyone has the time to do all that and show up in an in-game courtroom at a certain time, especially when our timezones aren't exactly all the same. Again, don't get me wrong. There's nothing I'd love more than being able to do that, but it's virtually impossible for this to be executed in the server at this point in time. And while I agree with you about opening more avenues of roleplay script-wise, it also isn't the most productive idea to have people grinding scriptwise jobs like they're doing now. The difference between, say, being a pizza delivery guy and a drug dealer is that a drug dealer has a buyer to roleplay with. Pizza orders don't really happen, unless a pizza business opens and starts offering it. Otherwise, you just have a guy in a Faggio driving around 24/7, not really interacting with anyone and anything.
Well thats the thing. You get a few courtrooms right? You let a few judges who are online occupy the courtrooms. You have holding cells below the courthouse where people have been transported RPly from their local precincts to the courthouse. You stick a few SD guys down there to pat down the detainees before they're brought up to see a random judge for an arraignment. They're given a date to come back, (and since its roleplay and not real life, the judge can be lenient with the detainee and work out a reasonable time and date where people don't have work or school or what have you before adjournment.) You make the right point that it'd be hard to occupy it but there's literally not even one in place, so of course it'd be hard to occupy it when it's not scripted in. And I'm not trying to argue with you, you make reasonable points. But to say impossible to execute this at this time, I mean... when WOULD it be possible? We haven't even discussed what bigger fish we have to fry. Lay the canvas, set the standard, everything falls into place from there. My idea isn't to get people to grind, my idea is to lay down the jobs so people can create companies or businesses surrounding these jobs and create more RP. Why don't we have pizza orders? People can buy cocaine because its itemized, we have cigarettes itemized, we have guns itemized, well... why don't we have pizza itemized? It's all up to the devs. Also... they needa get rid of that Faggio. xD People deliver pizza in CARS nowadays, in modern day America.

Yeah, for some. And yeah, you're right. But if we had more lawyers who had to get to the courthouse to represent their client, hey, there's 10 busdrivers, let me catch the bus.
8 minutes ago, Rye said:See, this is why I appreciate companies like ROZE Enterprises and LSCG so much. These companies keep newcomers hooked in the server, giving them roleplay opportunities until they become more familiar with the city and start to branch out in their own preferred environments. What we need to do is to equip people to create more of these companies, especially those with ingenious ideas, and build from there.
I would imagine that these companies revolved around business roleplay and were able to teach something productive to the players. A roleplay server is a perfect place to perhaps teach the newcomer a lesson or two about real life especially when it's grounded in realism. These are the type of companies we're talking about when we envision a future for this server. So that's the attitude right there we're looking for, you at least know it can be better and that's step 1 in growth.10 minutes ago, Rye said:Devs like Cake are already on full throttle working out new features, and what we could help them out with is to point the focus on the most impactful ones first.
Well lets give him a pat on the back. And lets put his work to good use. Obviously, the participants of this thread are calling for a better attitude, a better standard, why not chuck in a few better additions to the script? A few things that'll make admins perhaps have to handle less reports. A few things that'll fix the aesthetic of the in game experience, I think I'd really like to log in and not see:
[Advertisement] COME LOOK AT THESE FAT JUICY STRIPPER CHEEKS AT MY STRIP CLUB, DRINKS ON THE HOUSE YALL.
I think we're beginning to realize that there's a whole sea of options here. While some things seem hard or undoable, we won't know until we have the attitude to create it, try it, and inevitably watch it fail, giving us the ultimate proof we need that it doesn't work. Instead of just feeling and going with the feeling that it won't work, and doing nothing. Not trying at all. You know? It don't take a day to build a pyrmid, but it takes a day to build a block. 😛 -

Don't get me wrong, it'd be great if we can have these things. But on a server with a dwindling playerbase, there are bigger fish to fry.
A server with a dwindling playerbase because there's not enough to do, there's the same stuff going on, there's the same type of reports being thrown out, there's the same type of script we've all been used to for years on end. Now I get LSRP is a nostalgia project to some degree but we're not doing ourselves any favors relying on an old script to provide new opportunities. What bigger fish would we have to fry if we had a playerbase full of people who are too focused on developing their characters with 50 different options and journeys to take? I think judge RP would be fire. I also think SD will have more roleplay to do. LSRP right now reminds me of something that happens when you take 150 people and throw them on an island. We can try and try to get people to learn community and learn courtesy and give them the general gist of survival, but you'll always be just a gaggle of people trying to get blood out of a rock so they can quench one day of thirst and be thirsty for the next however long. We don't got bigger fish to fry, we got a different attitude to take, we got new features to script in, we got a new wave of roleplayers that ruin it for the other 90% of roleplayers here and we most certainly don't have a great legal canvas to play with. I think adding in a courthouse, a court system a general incentive to do so will create a brand new option for people. That's only one of the 10 or so things I rattled off up top. -

Man at this point you are asking too much 😂
Real life > Realism. People have some notion that asking for a few simply scripted jobs is like asking to script in bodily functions and needs. And that's doable too but we'll save that for another chat lol.
20 minutes ago, Rye said:Actually, they kind of do. For example, nobody's stopping anybody from roleplaying a lawyer. Tungsten's even accepting people right now without having to take the bar for a limited amount of time. There's just not enough collective interest to build a system around it; not enough people to keep it sustainable. Aside from that, all the other jobs you mentioned can be roleplayed by people who're interested in doing it. There's nothing stopping them from doing so. The only issue is that nobody wants to do it. Bus drivers, that's definitely a nice idea. But for whom? Nobody goes on a regular commute, with set times and fixed routes. People play tentatively with whatever free time they could muster. Other than that, who's looking forward to driving around wordlessly for hours on end in a city where everyone has access to a personal vehicle?
My point is, what we should be discussing here is how to enable people who want to make the most out of their roleplay, and not suggesting dead-end jobs nobody even wants to do in the first place.
They do not have a court system in game. I know many people who roleplay lawyers, well when lawyers go to work, they go between two places. Their law firm and the courthouse. There's never enough people to keep anything sustainable when the server has a low playerbase, but if you create the canvas IN GAME for it, people can occupy it. Then more people can occupy it. And then more, and more, until there is a brand new world of RP here that people haven't even gotten into yet. Nobody wants to do it? Fine, script it in anyway. Let the ones who want to do it do it. And yeah, bus drivers, you know, for people who like driving around the map and not shooting people up at Idlewood Pizza Stacks as everyone's made mention of in this thread. I do remember a time where LSRP had a working train system, One of my characters used to sell drugs and guns off of it for months because the police were up and down our neighborhood and the city, there were actually so many cops online that you'd have to really think about where you'd want to do a deal on the street, so I'd take the train, do the deal, pretend I'd leave my luggage.
If people play tentatively with whatever free time they can muster, they have the choice to earn more money and work in game or go lollygag in the streets and make nothing just like real life. Gun dealing takes work too. Drug dealing is work. Everything takes work. Simply typing /me covers his mouth and coughs into his forearms is too much work for some people, those are the people who don't play.
I get your point, and we are discussing how to enable people to have a better quality environment. We're discussing bringing realism back to LSRP. I saw that a person had mentioned how we'd like to add more things to the script instead of just fix old broken parts of the script. Everyone's "if it ain't broke don't fix it" attitude has turned the environment into a stagnant oasis of monotony lol. I've suggested 6 things above that could be implemented. Some people in this server aren't even ready for those discussions yet, here we're discussing the culture shift, player retention, a new attitude on how we treat some of the things that cause a daily problem a roleplay environment, you feel me?
My thinking is, you'd make the most out of roleplay by giving people more things to roleplay, and having a scripted system backing it up. If roleplay isn't about exploring your options and seeing what makes you enjoy your passtime the most while playing and developing a character you made up out of the blue, I can't say I know what it's about. -

TL;DR - The legal roleplayers able to roleplay businessmen, company owners, regular joes, ETC. are already doing it and have all the resources available at the palm of their hand. Feeding the legal roleplay "scene" with a baby bottle isn't gonna help them at all, just encourage more idiots to whip their cheetahs around Idlewood looking for reasons to up a PF gun at someone over the silliest conflict.
They don't have all the resources in* the palm of their hand. The only jobs you have available are trucking, fishing, maybe some sanitation if that's not broken. Where are the linemen? Where are the landscapers? Where are the engineers? On top of that, where are the judges? The lawyers? The bailiffs? The bondsmen? Where is our DEA? Where is our FBI? Where is our ATF? How about our mayor? Our city councilman? How about our senators? Our house representatives for the state of San Andreas? I see taxis, where are our busdrivers? Our ubers. Where are our barbers? Where are our chefs? You see any pizza delivery jobs on here? That used to be in the script.
I wouldn't go talking to everyone on this thread as if their views or their wants are meaningless, this thread is a suggestion thread to bring forth each and every one of these jobs and organizations, it's not just a discussion for the sake of discussion.
Do you got a suggestion for discouraging "more idiots to whip their cheetahs around Idlewood looking for reasons to up a PF gun at someone over the silliest conflict?" Please leave that here. -
In all my years of advocating for a more realistic environment, Im surprised and happy to see this amount of people wanting to abandon the "this is a game" mentality and get with the "this is a game, based on realism and creativity" mindset. LSRP used to be, sometimes still is, and absolutely can be a canvas for realistic roleplay.
A lot of good ideas have been posted here.
I know this is vague but I envision a few of these changes:
1. A realistic meeting system for players. Everyone starts as a stranger. To eliminate targetted trolling, targetted metagaming and targetted DM, which in my opinion should be a banning offense. Should create less work for staff and more roleplay for players.
2. Eliminating Long Term Wars and PK wars, and if thats not doable, at least eliminate the incitement to metagame by forwarding lists to each other.
3. Introducing an in game court system complete with bails, bonds, judges and lawyers. An in game system, not a forum system.
4. Introduce the concept of CKs only FOR SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES ONLY, such as shooting it out with police, engaging in gang/mob wars. In situations where PKs are issued for poor reason to kill, instead of banning people and deteriorating the playerbase, void the roleplay and issue ajails or multiday bans as punishment. But in a case where someone was killed for a poor reason but no rules were broken, PKs can stay. Poor reasons to kill have not yet been established and we cant just expect even new or old players to "know" based on any admins discretion what would be considered a poor reason. Of course, killing someone over an insult or looking at you funny is a poor reason. But how can new players who witness tomfoolery all over this server be expected to know that? Theres a cultural barrier here between older and newer roleplayers that can be fixed with some assertions and clarifications.
5. Put advertisements through a vetting window that must be approved by online staff. A simple click when they see a good ad, a simple click when they deny a poor one.
6. Clean house over at Idlezoo Pizza. While its been a major part of LSRP lore, its been a stain on this server for too long and a breeding ground for unrealistic RP. If admins just camped Idlestacks Pizza for a good month, people might stop screwing around.

Its a shame to see people not really taking this seriously, but as mentioned in the original post, this is what he means when he talks about the culture shift.
The good news is, the people who participated in this thread and want to see the change we're looking for, we are taking it serious. And this server is already on it's way to another culture shift.
I don't think we're throwing out any life preservers when this ship leaves port neither. Now's the time to shit or get off the pot.

other than that, i stand corrected. This thing will last centuries, im highly certain. keep it up fellas
A big piece of me wants to entertain this sad cry for help. The bigger piece of me understands what this thread is here for and why your replies are off topic. And why mine would be.
Get a grip young man, I've probably been around since before you started watching paw patrol.
Nice update by the way. Lets bring forth a good canvas for character development.
@manslaughter You reading that buddy? CHARACTERRRR DEVELOPMENNNNNT.
EDIT- By the way, IDK what this guys talking about favoritism, property management has ignored us on numerous accounts in getting complexes or schemes, businesses. If the assumption is that we're the "favorite" here, just reread some of what's been said. Peoples responses corroborate the fact that perhaps I was a pariah here for the longest time, and not because I killed so many virtual people or lead the charge in more PK wars than I care to remember, but it came down to one very simple, FIXABLE thing.
My attitude. And here we are on a thread looking to address certain changes that need to be made, well why don't we do what Fitzi says to do and read between the lines. Change your attitudes, before any of the listed changes should be made.
If I could do it, why can't you? Looking at the bigger picture, its no wonder there is no sympathy at all for people who suffer from main character syndrome and think that this server is a playground for them and just them. This thread shouldnt be about any particular faction. I got some qualms with some of the factions on this server, who cares? People got a problem with a faction I started and don't even run anymore, who cares? For the people who hold onto 10 year old grudges, it shouldnt have mattered then, I'm happy to say it doesn't matter now, and it's not gonna matter in the future once we do what this thread is saying to do without saying.
Change your attitudes, and you'll see the environment around you change with it. You don't need to be a brain surgeon to understand that what you manifest can be a blessing as easy as it can be a curse.
Just enjoy yourselves and enjoy the journey of new characters. We got something very nice going these days, between our LCN factions looking forward to a more realistic setting, doing more business, our police factions working together instead of against each other, and the staff beginning to actually listen to player concerns.
Why don't we just start with the day one stuff again?
1. Follow the in game rules.
2. Keep the immaturity to a minimum.
3. Don't ban evade.
You breach any two of these rules, you need to reread the assignment. We're all here doing the same thing, if you want to be part of this change, just start with the basics.
Most of all: If 3 rules are somehow too much for you to handle, just start with the one thing we should all know.
Develop your character. Thats it. Start there.
-
I think we should narrow this down in Layman's terms.
Roleplay servers are for: Developing characters. Taking your time as storyline transpires. Enjoying passive roleplay and allowing OCCASIONAL conflict to take its natural course without the headache of having to win or lose.
And deathmatch servers are for: Shooting each other. Winning and losing.
Easy conclusion: Welcome to Los Santos ROLE-PLAY. Don't like it? Tough fuckin shit. Go check out their DM server. You don't like a specific someone or a specific faction? Who cares? Invite them to the deathmatching server. Nobody cares. Your internet reputation will mean nothing once you have actual responsibility on your hands instead of being worried about how many people you killed on a roleplay server.
People who cheat on a roleplay server do not understand the assignment. Deathmatchers do not understand the assignment. People may accidentally break rules, those people can learn. And the ones who break the rules purposefully actually deserve to be frowned upon here. And you absolutely are frowned upon by people who do understand what we're here to do.
This is a passtime for people who have actually felt sunlight on their faces, touched grass, and have some life experience they can apply to a realistic setting in a text based world. Its a passtime for people who enjoy dialog, emotes and activity. Not people who just want to go buy a gun and go kill 6 people because they don't think the PD are as good of a shot with an M4 as they are on a 20 year old video game. Some of you just simply need to get a grip on yourselves.
Learn to love it or go play Call of Duty. Or singleplayer. Go round up a couple of Grove Street guys, go clap some Ballers to satisfy your virtual wrath. 🤷♂️

We need the ones who are accountable to be accountable, and LSRP can be accountable for their shortcomings same as the players must be accountable for theirs. Thats called leading by example. Fix whatever the problem is and move on. And lets get back to the topic of this thread, please.
-
Thats what I read in trksthtmns post before it was censored, without trying to argue.
We're also not trying to boss around staff, I'm sure you guys got a good blueprint for a better future. I'm sure a guy like trksthtmn just wanted to be heard and instead of posting that thread here, we couldve had thay discussion on his thread instead of Martins thread that called for a retention of players and teaching the potential waves of new ones.
As for trksthtmn, Im sure he wasnt trying to ruin the server, sure he couldve handled it better but if it was just something that pointed out discrepencies and corruption within staff, you can thank him for that at least, because the playerbase thanks him for showing whats going on. Maybe a chat between MMartin and trksthtmn is in order, a more private one. I dont imagine that the staff who were breaking the rules under the noses of management deserve the same grace but I dont know what trksthtman wouldve gained out of just pointing out problems.
My personal gripe with where this thread went was, we took one conflict and covered another conflict with it. We were making headway through all the trolling and shit before this happened. We should clean up this thread, get back on topic, reopen trksthtmns topic and go from there I think.
Its not a big deal. Staff was screwing up, management has taken steps to fix it, I can understand the frustration with trksthtmns way of handling it but lets not put all the blame on him as if he was the one disrupting things. I'd like to see this end with some grace on both sides. Do we really need to punish a guy for blowing the whistle on shitty staff behavior? Youll find corrupt staff on every server, its not worth beating yourselves up over. You took the right steps in moving on, so lets recognize who the real enemy is and lets actually move on. Ok?
Nobody cares if they did or they didnt, you guys should care more than us. If this is a lie, okay, straighten that out internally, not on Busatos thread.
I'd like to see this thread get back on topic.

If someone resorts to false claims, leaking and threats when confronted, that discussion won't yield anything productive that'd actually improve anything on the server. I don't see what the community stands to gain in following that thread of thought.
Why don't we start somewhere simple? Busato made this thread. How about you just read the OP, think of ways to change the script that make this server more catered to realism, get on board with the old "we want realism" mindset and we go from there.
Your staff, theyre working and growing.
Your players, they're waining, and dying.
Give trksthtmn a pass for going public with information you can't be sued for, reinstate him, he's fair. Punish the ones who made OOC money off of IC things, thats mixing. Clean up all the shit that derailed Busatos thread and reopen that post, this way we can finish talking about what Martin brought up. We should be able to move this discussion off of Martins thread, Im sure this isnt what he wanted to see.

Alright. This is what Busato is talking about when he talks about the culture shift.
I think you should reread whats actually being said here, because without arguing, you've misconstrued what I said and you've derailed the main focus. Also, I think that this thread is less about my contribution and more about what Busato is trying to say, so please, without any disrespect or an attempt to derail this thread with arguement, reread what I wrote and try not to sully this meaningful post with miscontrued argument and paraphrasing.
Martin is not rambling, he's remembering a time where LSRP simply had better standards and he makes great points on how to fix the culture shift. Busato has been here for 12 years minimum in Valenti, the topic deserves the respect of a full understanding of what hes saying.
Lots of people here had made good contributions to this thread, lets keep it that way, please.
-
Cortez misconstrued what I said, @Sfaccimma. Maybe he read it wrong. The topic at hand is this, and do me a favor, dont even argue with him.
What I said in short was:
1. We need PK war lists gone.
2. We need a stranger system
3. We need to be harder on deathmatchers and also make a list of whats OK and whats not OK.
And the bigger picture in the original post is we need to change the mindset of the players because as it would seem, things have declined in the quality department. And I'm sure he didnt meant that as an attack, considering staff just got rid of 16 ban evaders last week. They shut down a faction. They clearly want to make changes so a player made a thread pointing them in the right direction.
This thread is more about looking ahead towards a better future in LSRP. Getting people on board with a change that requires everyone to want something with a little more substance.
Martin Busato wrote a thread about player retention, he's not saying that theres anything wrong with the staff. This isnt a complaint thread. He talks about a time in LSRP where it was on an upward trajectory. Hes recognizing a change in the way people roleplay (culture shift). He offered up a description of the current state of factions based off of this culture shift. And he made notice of the LSRP staffs work in upholding standards, and he is describing an older standard in a time where LSRP was more about long term character development than it was about high action roleplay, and instant gratification. From what I take, he's trying to point the current staff in the right direction for bringing back older players and welcoming newer players by teaching this mindset.
It will be a team effort, this whole thread started with him pointing out the us vs. them mentality that players and staff have developed over a period of time.
This thread is full of ideas that will bring LSRP back to its peak level of roleplay quality.
It's got my 100% approval.
-
I think every time a thread like this gets derailed, it goes to show how much it needs considering.
To players: Develop your characters.
To staff: Hear out your players.
To rulebreakers: Habbo Hotel. Bye. 😅

Right. Or like, you know, if you kill a guy and it gets void, dont roleplay it. Or if you get killed off from something, dont RP any memory of it. And don't ban evade for the sake of pissing people off because it sets the wrong example for people, you know?
Play to win mentality. Its an epidemic on these kind of servers. Now please, for the sake of this discussion, go honor your ban and let the men speak.

Heres a list of things I'd like to see LSRP make a change on for the purpose of realism:
1. PK war lists need to go. In a perfect world, the entire concept of PK wars would need to go, but meeting in the middle here I think that list exchanges are nothing short of an incitement to metagame between leaders.
2. A Stranger system needs to be in place. I wrote a thread about this and it wasnt discussed. People should not inherently know who anyone is and there should be absolutely no inclincation as to who they could possibly be until youve roleplayed with them. I am not a fan of nametags. I am not a fan of health bars. Its all an incitement to metagame to an old head like me, but we manage to exist with them. I hope that changes.
3. Be tougher on deathmatching. Extend our definition for deathmatching because "poor reason to kill" is a cop out for the concept of deathmatching. Either write a small list (for staff) of what can be considered a valid reason for a player to PK to another player, or perhaps write a list for whats unacceptable, so new players know early. We all know the nature of GTA without roleplay is "shoot a guy for stepping on your shoe and keep shooting anyone in your way till the army arrives with tanks." Where the nature of any roleplay server should be "I could lose my life/character if I screw up this piece of work."
I am a heavy advocate for making life harder for deathmatchers and metagamers. And of course, when I first started Bellomo, there were a lot of conflicts to be had and settled to establish ourselves so as someone who has been accused of having a deathmatcher mentality at one point or another I'm proud to say that each and every deathmatching accusation against me has been either withdrawn or debunked. This is because I draw a fine line between what I consider acceptable and unacceptable. A few small examples.
To me, if you kill a guy for calling you an asshole in front of your friends, its unhinged to kill him for it but its not deathmatching. You have a reason. In comes "poor reason" to kill. Now I would admit that its a poor reason (morally) to kill someone but people who have studied mobdom know that people have been killed for similar if not smaller reasons. We need that fine line between whats deathmatching/poor reason to kill compared to a valid reason in this server, we need it highlighted and easy to access so people know whats OK and not OK. Another example; A guy wants to test out his gun. Its wrong to say that Richard Kuklinski, a polish hitman who did work for the Italian mob was a reasonable man, he was more a psychopath. He would blow anyone away just to make sure his gun works. Obviously, in our environment, this would be considered deathmatching, unfortunately for the people he did that to, they don't get to respawn at the airport. This server has regulations regarding such behavior that would consider something like that deathmatching, and I agree. I notice that a lot of people want to roleplay psychos, and those are the ones who get caught up on deathmatching, poor reasons to kill.
So without rattling off 50 examples, allow me to just say my point given these examples. The deathmatchers should be vehemently punished as they disrupt roleplay and the developmental mindset. But we should outline and highlight what will be considered deathmatching/poor reason to kill and what will be considered valid. This will advance the realistic development mindset.

ROLE-PLAY MINDSET
Everyone needs to adopt the mindset of focusing on the realistic development of their characters. Stay in the moment and embrace every scene. The play-to-win mindset, trigger happiness and seeking quick thrills is not the best way to go about role-playing and it drags the server down. LSRP is marketed as a heavy role-play server and we need to back this up.
I've been saying this to people. A lot of people still do not realize that there is no winning or losing in roleplay. I speak from experience when I tell anyone reading this thread that when this community becomes more about you instead of the people in it, you're already spiraling into a rabbit hole of poor standards and competitiveness.
Realistic character development are the key words here. This all takes lots of time.
I hardly remember what year Valenti got here, but they got here around the very time LSRP first launched. Were talking about a faction thats been around for more than 10 years. Meanwhile, Bellomo crossed the 10 year mark this year. Valenti and Bellomo were both official too at different points, but Im sure we can all agree that the official status doesnt make you developed or give you development. Development comes down to the consistency of each individual.
When Busato talks about development, hes not talking about your level, hes talking about how available a person is to participate in or create roleplay over long stretches of time.
If we can all get on board and push the realistic development mindset, I am confident LSRP will become a canvas for like minded people who want nothing more than a thriving roleplay community. One without the play to win mentality. A community that accepts personal wins and losses as one simple thing: Character development.
I hope the staff keeps this attitude. Keep aiming for a better future. Keep creating a better script. You'll in turn see a better attitude from players. Time to start working together.

Thank you Frank.
Id like to state for the sake of this report that the evidence theyre posting is from yesterday, shortly after this report was made. I'd like that to be known because this is how they act when they are reported. They come back to the party that reported them and try to create more problems. This should highlight their complete lack of regard for server standards. They also just received their first faction strike in another report.
My issue isnt them coming back to troll, Im happy to take a PK just to distance myself from this less than creative roleplay that LSRP doesnt condone, my issue is the cheating, the harassment, the attitude and all. And I beliece with mininal evidence thanks to their behavior, we've proven all we need to prove.
Thatll be all from me, feel free to lock until we have a verdict.

The attitude here should say everything. Without derailing the subject, pertaining to what donnie is saying and how he's been acting, it is very clear that their attempts are based on OOC hate. I'm not here to argue or waste time arguing with a guy who roleplays a hot dog salesman slash mob boss who goes out with his administration, baits people into gunfights with lackluster argument.
Yesterday, during the midst of this report, against admin instruction, they came to the brickhouse, attempted to rob a car (a mob boss), attacked Frank Sarno, and didnt RP any of his actions. Didnt RP getting shot at all. I took a PK. I didnt report either. We have 2 clips of them C bugging and abusing samp physics during the shootout I initiated for attacking one of our members. I'd like to add powergaming and abuse of samp physics to this report and Id like Frank Sarno to leave that here for the admins sake.
He says we have shit standards, you know what I say in response?
They just took 2 ajails in the last 2 days. There are 4 ongoing reports on them. There are none on us. And I have nothing further to say in regards to their behavior, Ill let staff go with their gut on this based on the cursing and the petty remarks.
I'd like the evidence regarding the harassment in messages to be looked at and Id like staff to notice that I have chosen to ignore these guys.

Your Information
Ingame & faction name: Dean Cracchiolo. Bellomo. (Crime Family.)
Faction's thread:Reported Party
Faction(s) & leader's name: The Vesci Crime Family. Lino Vesci.
Faction thread:
Additional Information
Type of war, if any: - None.
Active agreement(s), if any: - None.
List of violations: - Common Courtesy. Metagaming. Powergaming. Incitement to metagame.
Dates of incidents: - 10/9/2024. 10/10/2024.
Explanation (person(s) involved, backstory, conclusion, etc): Simply and briefly put, roleplay had transpired around July 6th where the members of the formerly known Gant Bridge Connection/Vesci Crime Family had burned down a gym belonging to the Bellomo Crime Family. A report ensued from Streetwise, blaming Troy Viccaro for breaches of IG rule 1, 2 and 4. The report was handled by @Daidough who had made clear that Pierra was PK'd for burning this business down, and no action will be taken against Viccaro. Just a few short days ago, 10/9/2024, it was brought to my attention that they are continuing their knowledge of the building burning. Only problem is, they were PK'd from that situation, as per admin ruling. So for Lino Vesci, their leader, forum name donniebrasco and also .445 (he has 2 accounts) to be omnisciently stating in a /me in an edited screenshot on his thread, reminiscing about the building burning he was killed off for along with Pierra and a number of his men, that is a a breach of common courtesy wherein such information would not be roleplayable by a dead man. He went on to talk trash to Pierra, who was also killed off for that situation by Daidough's affirmation. Troy Viccaro was the owner of the business, Troy Viccaro had Pierra murdered for this, and Vesci was also killed during a failed hit attempt on us during the scenario. As Daidough suggested and I quote: "I suggest you two to either cut interactions if you cannot RP with eachother or follow up with a faction report." they breached this suggestion by sending me a harassing DM on the forums just moments after I reported them for this. We're about sure that they are using this knowledge to stir up more in character drama where they lack the right to, since they've been PK'd. Ernest Governi, a member of their faction had sent me a forum PM that I consider to be forum trolling, a complete lack of regard for Daidough's old suggestion. I read it, and since he saw I read it and not responded, he was sure to send me another one. While it may be funny to some to troll a faction they don't particularly like OOCly, we don't find it very funny when we're looking to uphold the standard of roleplay and go on about our business with them in our rear view mirror. They were killed, and should roleplay as such. Not harass the people who killed them for the lols, on 2 LSRP platforms no less.
Evidence: -
Common Courtesy breach, not staying IC. (They were murdered for burning down the gym and continue to RP knowledge of this. Considerably powergaming as well, IG 3.)
Forum harassment:
Proof of Pierra's murder cited in the report listed on page 1:
Notes: - We've reported this faction before. We will continue to report them for their breaches of the LSRP rules as long as they give us means to. Our lack of response to them shall speak for our habitual willingness to let sleeping dogs lie/let bygones be bygones.
Did you file any similar or related report on the Report Player section? If so, link: -Yes.
Did you try to solve it with the reported faction's leaders before reporting? If so, what was the outcome? - No, we do not interact. Lino Vesci is an ex faction member of Bellomo who was CK'd in the 5 platform, and is using this new faction as means to troll us and/or disrupt roleplay in a faction he'd been rejected from for his poor standards and ability to stay IC.
If any, do you/your faction has any intention to end the conflict? - Yes. We've tried to end this conflict by following Daidough's suggestion, only now we're receiving harassing PM's and numerous provocative attempts to get a rise out of us. We've not responded at all to the foolishness.-

Here's some ideas.
Step 1. Ban this fuckin impotent cuck from the forums, or this discussion at least. He adds nothing to the conversation, he's just here to get some type of revenge for his faction being shut down for deathmatching. Nobody here is looking to "make it happen" with the hot dog salesmen of Idlestacks Pizza, alright? Tell Down-Broadway Wayne he can talk all the shit he wants about Bellomo, we were never shut down for deathmatching, what an embarrassment. When you apologize to everyone in this discussion, I'll acknowledge you once again. Until then, go get a haircut and find something to do on Identity or Roblox and please don't address me ever again, you fucking prepubescent lol.
Step 2. @trksthtmn Stop talking to manslaughter, he's just here to derail the thread and put a good discussion in a bad place.
Step 3. Scroll up and read my simple input. Many people have input here, it's just he has a weird fixation with Bellomo and myself. Mine is just there with the rest of everyone elses. This entire thread should be considered, starting with the original post.
Apologies to LSRP staff in advance for the outburst, manslaughter was invited to take his obsequious shit talking to DMs, but he's super quiet, like I'd imagine he is in real life. Just mute him or something.
I'll take the warning/punishment/whatever someone had to tell this moron to go pack sand lol. I'll be the bad guy today.
For all of you who have partaken in this discussion, please, do me a favor, ignore this outburst and continue on with the ideas. It's getting somewhere and that's why people are acting up on this thread. Don't worry, we see you. 💯
