  1. anyone playing?
  2. I mean, lets look at the team for LSRP:V it's around 5 developers, with 5 active developers you can really build a good script, that's standard for a small basic Software Dev team. There's absolutely no reason they couldn't build something competetive with GTA World, that's suited to the LSRP community, and your post is so off topic lmao I'd personally like to see a lot of consistency within the user's experience and a solid brand i.e UI library built that is LSRP's own, I don't want the server to feel like a hodge podge of mods combined together to make something work rather a bespoke experience that's tailored to LSRP:V, almost as if it's a seamless transition from SA-MP to V, with of course the benefits implemented that comes with RAGE (i.e Native Chrome Embedded Frameworks and apps built around that). That's what I'd like to see. In terms of what I think needs focusing on is; the illegal side of roleplay. This should really be honed in on, illegal factions should be a priority, building those gameplay loops and not making the server a chore to play on, but rather a system that rewards roleplay. Tailoring to that a strong prison system that entices players to want to build factions within prisons, then from there, I believe that the roleplay surrounding illegal activity will not be met with a bitter taste of loss, as prison roleplay will actually be active. But that's just one path, one story. I imagine are more generic paths that need to be catered for as well.
  3. Massive support for illegal roleplay, out of the box growing weed, not overly comprehensive scripts that similate life, but fun and interesting scriots that add depth to roleplay. official factions being supported properly and overall just fun in general #SASDnotLSSD #bringbackgreensasd!!
  4. got overe 3k hours on arma 3 if anyone is playing it hmu and I'm down to get something going
  5. Stalker 2: Shadow of Chernobyl the graphics are just out of this world, insanely immersive and scary. Love the stalker series, if you like DayZ you'll probably enjoy it. Waiting for MGS Delta to drop that'll be a banger from time to time I'll hop on random games lik Star Citizen to see what theyve changed/updated which is usually buggy as fuck so if anyone on there hmu
  6. 26 Pages this thread has, that's 26 pages of suggestions, criticism and highlighted problems. What more can the community do to help? There's been so much out cry and yet, there seemingly from the perspective of the players has been zero action, apart from a shrinking development team and a dwindling playerbase. The illegal roleplay scene has none but a handful of players who are motivated to even get in game, the rest have given up hope or turned to deathmatching. The server doesn't even have a roleplay standard anymore, when it was once upon a time the standard. It's become physically impossible for any member of a gang related unit to do anything productive, detectives can't even roleplay, police can only get involved in 2 hour pursuits that eventually end up in deathmatching. What is supposed to be a roleplay server feels more like a deathmatching mess which punishes those who roleplay accordingly instead of rewaring. The whole ecosystem of gameplay has fell apart, and these 26 pages of criticisms and outcries are a result of complete failure to look after the good players of the server.
  7. This TBH, and as for official factions we've built up better communication lines with IFM/Mapping teams such that we can communicate directly to them via discord. So if any official factions want to reach out then hit up either IFM, or their IFM rep and we can directly forward your mapping request should you want to take that route. My only gripe is that updates are rolling out on a monthly basis, and mapping requests usually sit within these updates; it'd be nice if they could be a bit more... On the fly almost? As in not monthly but whenever theyre ready they can be added in, understanding testing must take place (I assume)
  8. lol shut up u clown derailing the thread with absolute nonesense only official u got in 2016 was an official recommendation from the doctor to take some pills for being mentally ill
  9. Made your account 8 minutes ago to come and bark under ur fake name get out the basement Barry your parents want you to move out your stinking the house out
  10. This is the most dumb as rocks response I’ve ever read. If you’ve got nothing nice to say or Atleast nothing constructive then don’t say it at all. What help are you submitting this message to rub your little ethug persona a bit of pride. The modding team are working hard and making some cool shit. It’s a step in the right direction; if you give them praise and constructive feedback they can learn and improve. Lead don’t command it’s not rocket science. Show people a better way forward instead of barking stupidity like “you gotta resign”. have a sense of community about you.
  11. farming weed on my old character Jamal Brookside was really fun
  12. What a great read! It’s so true, and honestly there’s nothing more to even be said on this thread anymore, the issues have been raised, pointed out and highlighted it’s really up-to management to act quickly.
  13. What's good homie, there is a few guides here, and on the old forums too https://community.ls-rp.com/forums/forum/975-player-created-guides/ I don't know why player created guides are so hard to find as well, should be moved to a more appropriate section where it clearer to find
  14. the transparency is awesome, I hope it goes well; and don’t worry we can flesh it out properly and get it written up so the actual engineering side can be super simple. This is why I joined IFM, to get this ball rolling and these conversations started up again. best of luck with that chat the whole of the community needs it right now.
  15. work with me and I’ll help create a fleshed out bunch of prioritised work constructed in a way that illegal features can be easily implemented and expanded on from the foundations. that being drug systems, through to addiction right the way up to planting drugs. if you can commit to illegal development I’ll make sure it’s all in order for you. I just need a committed dev.
  16. A "Looking for" section, where players can create a thread and get matched with similar interests for roleplay, whether it be timezones or roleplay themes.
  17. And, like I pointed out, if its out of your control who does it fall too? Again, my point is not that LSFD is doing anything wrong, it's that LFM haven't invested into it, or it seems that way. Regardless, LSFD was not the initial talking point, it was more important than that. LFM issues drug systems
  18. I don't even know, they got a bit triggered when I mentioned it in the other post, which is fair, they roleplay there and I'm not informed on the ins and outs of what they're doing. Regardless, the point I made in the previous post around the track record still stands. As well as prioritisation and revamping LFM. This response was the least constructive thing I'd expect from the lead of a faction. Like bruh. If you bothered to read my posts previously you'd see why it was even mentioned. Instead you kneejerked and have immediately taken a position which frames you in a toxic place, breathe rethink and come back with something atleast informative, like your previous post. Regardless, all playerbase activity can be tied back to poor administrative decisions, lenient administrative punishments, and overall lack or priorities.
  19. I've not seen any of those recently, or since relaunch (although they may have happened, they haven't recently). And even if they have, why stop promoting them? They still need members they should be flat out invested in a constant cycle of recruitment.
  20. Remove the barrier to entry would be a start? - In game events? - Fires in hotspots that show organisation, orchastration and entice people to join - Recruitment Fairs, again advertising in game that would entice people, focus on bringing attention to players surrounding FD. - Enable new joiners to operate the ambulance and heal, its not hard to do some roleplay surrounding patching someone up, atleast until members are rolling in - Increase pay, some sort of incentive for people to actually join the faction, is there an influx in new players? Accomodate them. And not even that, LFM should be questioning why is this legal faction suffering, what's been done previously and if it's failed so aggressively then why are we carrying this support burden if there's no prevail coming from it? If all else fails then just turn it into a command to join the job and scrap it as a faction entirely similarly to /mechanicjob Sorry to upset the homies in FD though, I'm know that a bunch of you are committed to the cause there but I had to use you as the example.
  21. God forbid we inject some fun into the server, right? We must portray Los Angeles to the fullest!!! I would argue the server was way more brandable and enjoyable with SASD era. Jokes aside, LFM can directly improve the situation regarding FD.
  22. Okay, we can go back and forth all day; can I rewind back to the reason I posted here originally you have highlighted my point enough and it can only go off topic from here... My originall reason I posted hrew was to create discussion surrounding revamping LFM such that it's a board/members of voted in members by the community, who can post their application/profile publically to the server for a vote to be cast on from the playerbase who can read and determine the most suitable candidate based on, real life experience, in game experience and a suitable action plan. Still restricted to staff members... I don't understand why this was a locked thread in the first place, again, trying to provide a solution to a problem that is clearly prevalent. And judging by what you've said here, I still believe that LFM is falling short of the mark, and thats just one problem I can identify with to help bring the playerbase up.
  23. Do you stand by this, honestly, let's look at how active FD is at the minute; 0 active players 99% of the time in that faction. What actions have you taken to improve the situation there? Sheriff's Department, yesterday at peak playing hours, there was active pings and requests for people to get in game because they were lacking numbers to be operational as a functioning legal department, when the week before Iudex getting banned we was executing H-RAWs, an active gang injunction and executing SEB property raids in collaboration with OSSB. So, by directly investigating the recent changes that SD has had, its quite obvious that a major change has impacted the motivation of the majority who stood to uphold the remaining SD members. Especially when it was near collapse, and with the constant complaints and uproar, I think it would smart to consider the actions you've taken and begin to investigate whether or not your actions have directly improved the server or served as a detriment. I don't even want to use this thread as a question time for you Izumi, but it's at the point where the players who've dedicated unfathomable hours to the game, forums, etc are the ones being left out to dry instead of listening to their concerns and having back and forth dialogues. None of what I say is slander; but mere factual information from the experiences I've had on the server, forums and political areas of LSRP, and I will continue to try and highlight the problems and where I can; provide solutions until it's in a better state. So instead of saying the community is toxic, consider it a free service when individuals like myself come along and actually question those who are arguably doing all the donators, developers and community members who play a disservice by taking questionable actions and are afraid to break process where common sensee is needed. Did you actually take time to reflect on what it was the people of the sheriff's department where complaining about? Or instead throw them aside and use the same filler argument that it was the right decision. When the entirety of the current active SD disagreed? lol what? Your current track record for legal factions is as follows - A dead FD - A hacking sheriff - A inactive sheriff who hadn't logged into the forums for 2 weeks prior to being appointed - who hadnt been in game since 8th of November prior to being appointed. As to rub salt in the wound, the current SD is on the brink of what is arguably collapse, so you see my argument? The pattern is clear, and my thread relating to voting in a leader for LFM removes the bias entirely, as the community decides the leader, it's a no brainer.
  24. How, I've provided in depth perspectives towards the illegal scene, reasoning towards WHY it should be prioritised, and on top of that suggestion after suggestion in SAMP suggestions to aid that course of action, yet my attitude sucks? What more constructive things can I do to help? Are you delusional or something? You've sat there, insulting me, throwing snark remarks, the fact you had to make three seperate posts instead of writing one response shows that you're not logically thinking and getting angry for nothing; with lack of depth responses that are utterly baseless. I'm literally providing reason to my advice and ideas, yet I'm met with responses like this. I'm not going to entertain your narcissism anymore.
