1. Again, I did not read but one post though what I've meant was not legal roleplay or trucking jobs or roleplaying a lawyer. Probably misworded my last post and also it's a complex thing to explain. Legal RP will not bring up the player base to 500/500 (although not a bad idea to keep it mind) and I'm not saying Management should start closing illegal factions and stop the gun trafficking or something. For example, playing GTA V is more immersive experience - feels more like a real life experience. Joining SA-MP server feels a bit less like that because running around in an older game is somewhat funny and not that realistic. And I'm not saying people should roleplay drinking water every 2 hours or so for the server to feel realistic. Quality of the whole narrative that's being played out here matters a lot. Giving you another example - playing GTA V is more fun because the narrative is kinda shaping into something new and it feels fresh. SO... I don't know if it's possible to replicate the GTA V feeling in the SA-MP server but also I'm not saying it's bad. The server is great bro! I love this platform to express my creativity and would love it for it to improve and maybe I would be playing this when I'm much older? 2. Reaching official status for your faction and getting drug/gun supply is great - don't get me wrong. Although (and this is my own personal opinion), I'm more of a make it In Game and less of a scripted roleplayer. If it's fun it's not wasted time, right? Right now you can not get a lot of quality interactions if you're not in a faction or some sort of a face here. No one goes off a vibe - majority of the players goes In Game when someone messages the "We IG" on Discord. And back in the day where there was no Discord you was forced to be online not to miss the action if you was dedicated to join any faction or get to know anyone. Also mall these days is empty? What's up with that bro? All of this entices with my last post saying I should be able to stand in one spot and be happy bout it.

Also I would love to see people just driving around - playing the game, walking around or something.

I think playing here would need to feel more like a real life experience - the flow of the game should have me doing regular human stuff not gang stuff 24/7. I've read only two posts on this thread but let me add some to this. What would help the experience would be some legal infrastructure. What we have right now is just pure criminal stuff and criminal storytelling? I might be wrong because I don't have time to go through all the screenshots or interact with everyone 24/7 on the server 🙂 I on know. I've enjoyed the GTA V server because you can just chill? GTA V server feels more like a real life experience - something SA-MP server is missing? Not sure. I've been playing LSRP for a minute although I'm not sure how can I start making moves. Discord is way better than private forums but now there's nothing to do if you're not in a faction - I can't imagine being a new roleplayer right now. Also... I enjoy roleplaying at all times (not scripted roleplay for screenshots) so standing in one spot should make sense for everybody. I'm not sure though - could be my incompetence.

I would like to start the post with a positive note - the server is doing pretty good. It's been a long time LS-RP is alive and well and at the top. Although nothing's forever bro. Also ditch the idea that everything is possible. There's really not much you can do in terms of player-base. There's not a lot of new roleplayers and the old ones will stop playing at some point. Not saying it's over - keep playing if it's fun. But people are not coming back (not because LSRP is bad) no matter what updates or what you adjust and the number of new ones coming to play here is pretty low. Marketing will not help because it's a very niche server with niche playerbase. Marketing a SA-MP client server (the game is 20 years old) with strict roleplaying rules? It's practically pointless. Updates? It will not change the fact that you're playing GTA SA. I had fun here and spent a couple of hours - do I see myself doing this forever? Not really. Having a GTA V server will not help. My final thoughts? Have fun playing here while it's still alive because the day is coming 🙂. And I mean this in a positive way. Congratz to ya'all ✌️

Explaining myself - if community is playing SA-MP and wants SA-MP - nothing wrong with that, keep playing! Though I could suggest that GTA V would provide a more immersive experience.

Only people that are playing SA-MP in 2024 are either from Russia or Eastern Europe. It will not make a comeback or reach 700 player base. LS-RP SAMP is almost over and so is SA-MP. Majority of players who know about this server is over 30 years old now 😄 Roleplaying gangs on a 20 years old game with people who do not know proper English or know anything about LA gang culture? No thanks 😄 You can keep the SA-MP server for the "hardcore" fans though it will not last very long before the hardcore players quit on this game. After 15 years of playing daily here - things get boring? GTA V server with 400-500 players would be awesome. Every roleplay you can imagine was done here on the server (GTA V role play would be fresh compared to LS-RP's sa-mp), GTA:SA map - my worst nightmare, the game itself is old and does not have as much development opportunity as GTA V. People like to say GTA VI is coming out so forget the GTA V. All I'm saying I'd rather jump off a bridge than turn on SA-MP again. How can people enjoy such a poor experience? If the management is down to bring it to a next level - I'd say give GTA V a try? P.S.: If you and your friends enjoy playing SA-MP - please don't get me wrong - play it as much as you like bro!
