Jonathan grew up in one of the poorest areas on Los Santos, the Infamous Idlewood, he was never the 9 to 5 job type of person so he had to come up with his own ways of making money to get by. He developed a talent for small time crimes by the time he was in his late teens stealing snacks from convenience stores escalated into minor robberies and before long he was defrauding locals of their money through phony transactions. Due to his charismatic personality and quick wit Big Jon is able to talk his way out of problems. Hes well known in the area for selling cheap drugs usually just enough to make ends meet and stealing from local restaurants because hes obsessed with food. Despite his illegal actions Jon is devoted to his friends and frequently gives away his wealth to those in need just as he did. Big Jon was nicknamed the Crook of Idlewood. He flourishes in the busy ghetto of the city continuously striking a balance between the lure of the streets and his longing for a better life. Though he is aware that every endeavor has risks and in Idlewood the stakes are always high his aspirations of becoming a big star keep him going.
