Yuri Mikhailov, a Russian by birth, joined the army at the age of eighteen to help support himself. His military prowess was greatly valued by the subterranean society, and he soon found employment as a bodyguard and enforcer. When he saw there was a substantial market for firearms, he used his military contacts and smuggling methods to import and sell them.
