I’ma say it from the SD side, since that’s the faction I’m in right now, even tho I been in PD and SD too. The standard (talking RP standards on LSRP) dropped heavy, I run into folks almost daily that can’t even write English right. And when the server standard drops, the LSPD/LSSD standard to RP serious and detailed like before drops too. The server been Koky’s DM spot for a long time now, just don’t carry that name. Players DM LSPD/LSSD every single day, I die at least twice daily bcause someone decide to Driveby an OSS unmarked car. Economy and guns on the server? Completely fucked up. Folks got like twenty Deagles stashed, so dying to LSPD or LSSD ain’t no problem, they just pull out the same gun again

Black Organized Crime in modern day Los Angeles is decentralized - heavily rooted in prison networks, street-gang upper echelons, and out of state DTO's using the city as their stomping grounds. Our faction hosts a wide variety of characters to accurately reflect this. I dunno, last week me and a few other deputies had a pinning ceremony and went to hang out after too. It's unfair to clump all as one group.

as far as i know Harlows they’ve been happy with SD side of roleplay, speaking of OSSB, though. I believe that “shift” truly happened due to overall drop of standards serverwide, can’t blame PD/SD when they are faced with subpar roleplayers and dmers majority of the time compared to very minimal genuine roleplay going on. You may seem to roleplay properly with law enforcement agencies, but you gotta bare in mind the fact that a great majority of LEO interactions result in subpar outcomes thanks to the mentality of many players just unable to let go of their weapons when asked to step out of a vehicle for a violation, thats an example. take a moment to scroll through faction threads related to LEO factions you will notice genuine roleplay, passivity, and showcase of the actual core of faction all around, “robocop” attitude is highly frowned upon anyways by both factions. Overall standards serverwide have shifted, PD/SD just accommodated to the downhill wave of roleplay going on.

Harlow can vouch for LSSD Deputy Quincy Duffy, great character development by that guy, don't know who it is but he is amazing, hangs around and actually talks to Harlow.

Here at the W/S Chain Gang, we hold ourselves along with the faction to a high standard. This doesn't make us elitist whatsoever. We merely aim for quality over quantity in all aspects. We do not tolerate rule breakers in any fashion. We have a three-strike system in place that allows our members the opportunity to redeem themselves because accidents do happen, we're only human. This is no excuse though, we expect our members to stay in their lane without disturbing anyone else. Upon joining we expect you to want to develop your character to their fullest extent. I believe some people in the community have a hard time differentiating themselves from their character. In this faction you will learn how to separate out of character feelings from your in character feelings. This is mandatory. Just because you have an issue with someone from an out of character standpoint doesn't mean you target them in character. That's a big no. Development is key, if you need any assistance with developing your character don't hesitate to message any of the leadership. Not every character is a full-fledged demon with nineteen confirmed kills for the hood. Robotic gang members will not be acceptable at all.
