First of all, here it is.  I have a job I go to, 44 hours a week.  Nobody cares.  I have a house I pay for.  Nobody cares.  I got a girlfriend that keeps my dick hard.  Nobody cares.  But I still get my ass in game and enjoy what LSRP has to offer because roleplaying is something I enjoy doing.  I'm not the one with the problem.  If you need so badly for the LSRP Devs to spoonfeed you everything you ask for, why don't you start with the basics of your real life like a job, a roof over your head, and a girlfriend that keeps your dick hard?

I don't got no issue lmao.  I get in game. ^-^

Go play GTAW if you got a fuckin problem lol, cause guess what.   We don't care.  We're too busy enjoying the in game experience.

  2. I'll answer your question!

What I personally want to say (and what I've been asking for for week/months) is a better and more in-depth justice/criminal system. There has been 0 communication in regards to this while there has been enough discord discussions/topics about it.

And while not everyone might care about it: I think it's rather comical that right now you are arrested and placed in jail without even getting to know anything of the courts or fighting your innonce.

That's my only complaint so far.

In my honest opinion, it would make much more sense to have a county or state agency. The entire map is considered Los Santos county and there are several smaller cities/towns throughout the map (Los Santos, Grapeseed, Sandy Shores, Paleto Bay, etc). It would make zero sense to have law enforcement from Los Santos patrolling the county and these smaller cities and towns handling calls for service and other incidents. I don't see how having LSPD as the exclusive law enforcement agency of the server would make sense, given the fact that most criminals will probably end up focusing their illegal roleplay outside of city limits because of the oversaturation of police in the city itself.

Just to clarify, I'm not agreeing we should just disband the LSSD and make do with the LSPD, all I'm discussing is that the server shouldn't perhaps gone with 2 LEO's to start off with and if that were the case, the LSPD would be the most logical one to have.

We've got to look at the circumstances that are happening on this server and it's clear that the roleplay in the county is almost nonexistent, apart from the people who occasionally go to the county side for some nature roleplay, a person who evades the cops by using the county or a trucker who is forced to go there because of the routes. Looking through the screenshot and videos section on this forum, this only confirms that the majority of roleplay is within city limits. If I'm not mistaken, the Sheriff's Department recently closed down their Paleto Bay station and moved its 2nd station within city limits for the same exact reason: not enough roleplay.

I highly doubt criminal roleplayers will move their operations outside of the city, the city itself is big enough for them to do whatever they want without being disturbed by the police. And even if they'd move their operations to the county right now, there is no one patrolling it.

I'm aware you're going to disagree with me and that's fine, this is something we'll probably never figure out or come to a compromise.

Honestly, I don't know how this server is going to be active again with a decent player base. There is a big competitor out there where a lot of people are already ''settled'', no one wants to start building their entire imperium again, do UCP tests, write character backgrounds or fail the driver test 4 times and then start off with fewer than 5k. It's extremely hard to get your head above the water and gain attention. People who were playing the game in 2015 era have since grown into their adult lives and are occupied with far more important things and aren't interested in playing a roleplaying game anymore. That coupled with the fact that the launch has been delayed a few times, communication has been bad and transparency hardly seen, good luck gaining the trust from people that have given up.

I'm not sure what you're trying to say with the last sentence there, but I work for a sheriff's department and I can say with 100% certainty that we patrol within city limits. There's nothing unrealistic or questionable about it.

What he meant is that the obvious choice for a law enforcement faction would be a city police department, considering the majority of roleplay is focused in the city and the server’s name even includes the city name.

  5. ** Sebastian Aguilera would enter the courtroom in a rather quick pace. He'd seat himself behind his bench and clears his throat before looking into the court room. **

''After reviewing the criminal complaint and the attached exhibits that was brought before the court this afternoon, the court has determined that there is no probable cause present for the charge of PC. 105 Assault with a Deadly Weapon.

The defendant, Anthony Abrruzo is ordered to be released. And with that, we're adjourned, thank you everyone.''

** Sebastian Aguilera steps away from his bench and disappears in the chambers. **

I can agree with the first change although it will just incentivize PK and suicide by cop more than it already is because most people don't want to spend a long time in jail, not to mention actually roleplaying the process. I don't think  a plead system is going to do anything to counter the amount of crime. Instead it will just complicate the arrest process. I speak from experience and know of others who don't wish to file even more paperwork than already is required. The whole plead thing seems like a carbon copy from another server. It's something to keep an eye on but in my opinion there are other features that need to be prioritized. The excuse of it being "just a game" shouldn't be brushed aside. At the end of the day if you implement 1:1 procedures of the Justice system in real life no one would play.

Honestly surprised by this comment. I was under the impression this is a heavy roleplay server but you say the most simplest and minor procedure is already too much for police officers to handle?

You do realize that giving a plea is how it works in the big world, right? The current justice system is not even 1% of what happens in-real life. You see someone commit a crime, you arrest him, sentence him yourself and move on to the new one. If I join any other cop 'n robbers server, there isn't any difference in this, and for a server like this, it's a big shame.

I haven't seen you in-game the last 2 months to be fair. Regardless these are concerns you should bring up to the Executive Staff team who are always available and swiftly handle any genuine concerns.

To be fair, we don’t really share the same timezone and the server, just like this topic is about, isn’t really popping off so I don’t play every day but I see enough stuff posted around to be kept in the loop.

There is zero OOC talks or causal conversation in IC TAC channels aside from the very rare instances where a pursuit becomes an admin sit, which always results in the TAC being cleared until the situation is resumed. This is enforced by all supervisors, command and faction leadership. This has always been standard practice even since SAMP.

With the several shootings right after the other, it’s obvious we aren’t going to file incident reports for each one. While we are here to roleplay, we understand this is a video game and we have zero intention in making it a second job or paperwork simulator by creating use of force reports for all incidents.

No one was talking about filing one for all shootings. That's what you make of it.

  9. I don't want to be rude or sound pessimistic but this server to me seems more like a glorified cops and robbers/low RP server.

Shootings are happening at such a big rate that it just isn't fun anymore. You about to be caught? How about I shoot myself out of this situation. Teamspeak is way overused and casual OOC talks are now happening in IC TAC channels. There is zero oversight on the use of force of LEO's since there is no requirement for people to file reports on questionable shootings or suspects who die during their arrest (apart from the very few supervisors who can be on scene). Normally IA would review those reports and investigate if it's fishy. I can go on and on but I honestly think it's subpar and should need a drastic review.
