I don't think OP means sniper rifles specifically, just the act of sniping from rooftops w/ a country rifle or M4 (which is still stupidly easy to counter considering PD is usually 10 deep on scenes and some of them also have access to long-range assault rifles) This is completely valid though and has been a part of the combat meta on samp since forever, I don't see why it should be an additional rule? Creating rules about vague shit just fuels drama on reports. Being on a rooftop doesn't make u invincible either, or maybe I'm just a bad rooftop shooter. From a gameplay point of view, the moment a traffic stop happens you're either to kill yourself in a shootout with PD or basically wrap ur RP up for the day because in 99% of the cases they find a vague reason to escalate the scenario into a search, which automatically sets you up for a hour of painstaking booking RP and 3 hours spent in the (basically OOC) jail for carrying a firearm (something you can't go without as an illegal rper on LSRP). It's not realistic for every gangster on the street to risk his life shooting at cops, but it's also very unlikely for every rookie police officer to go out of their way to find guns in every unassuming vehicle they pull over.

This type of mentality is the main bone to pick I've had with the administrative team so far, obviously there's a disconnect between players and admins when the staff refuses to see an issue unless it's given to them on a silver platter. I'm not being offended on behalf of anybody here but speaking from experience, as I've been in countless mishandled situations, it's more beneficial to let it go than go through the bureaucratic hoops of counter-reporting someone or filing an admin report. This I believe is very much the case with other adult players, thus a lot of shit gets lost without resolve; and the negative feelings left sour up people's experience on the server.

I was moreso pointing at the fact that the reporting party said they used the mechanic hotline to bait in a robbery victim, I feel like such abuse of the system is of heavier weight than not rping fear in a completely silly scenario like that. That should've at least raised some questions, and from what I've seen in the discord I found this report in, it did just that for several players.

Using this amazing example that I found to bump my old post in here, and reiterate the point that it's so stupidly easy to do retarded shit and get away with it on current day LSRP.
