A hundred percent this. If it weren't for Valenti, I wouldn't really have bothered coming back. I'm sure a lot of people here feel the same with whichever faction they belong in. I've been trying to give LSGOV a nudge for the past few weeks, and it has worked for the most part. It's largely thanks to eriks, Aleks, and a couple more guys as well. But they're outnumbered by a large amount of inactive people that it's hard to get anything done by themselves.
I'm a bit unfamiliar with the whole staff thing since I was either inactive or just solely concerned about my RP the majority of the time I've been here. Just two requests: revive GOV, and support factions--especially official ones. Back them up on their roleplay and reward their creativity by granting whatever it is their roleplay would've realistically gotten them. It doesn't hurt anybody, and it incentivizes great RP. Then watch how it triggers a butterfly effect and witness how the standard of roleplay will rise by itself.
