I'm sorry and I don't mean to shit on anyone's work but I am personally not satisfied with this reply. It honestly feels like absolutely all of the previous replies given to all of the previous threads like this with no clear targets, concise suggestions or concrete plans for the future. There were plenty of solid suggestions given in this thread and a simple "we will look into automating some tasks on the UCP without mentioning which ones or how we plan to do it" cannot be considered a satisfying reply and I think I speak for everyone who contributed to this thread. Please take the holidays to reflect on the situation and let's all try to come up with an actual plan together, have the community vote on all of the pain points. We're all poking you hoping for a meaningful reply and nothing's been given yet. One vote could be if the community wants staff to continue developing LSRP V or focus solely on SAMP. Because at this point, I can say with complete certainty that both projects are doomed to fail.

Who's at fault for this current state? The answer is fiddy-fiddy. 50% players fault 50% staffs fault When LSRP reopened the interest was very clearly there. We all wanted one last ride. It wasn't long before the mistakes of the past from both the community as well as staff started to resurface. The golden age of LSRP where everyone shat on everyone was still present. We all collectively brought the server to this state and blaming the staff alone is hypocrisy. The ship hasn't sunk yet and there's no guarantee it's salvageable at this point but it's worth a shot. I agree with Busato that a change at the top is required. However I do not think we should vote for one person to take over the reins and hope for the best. Whenever 1 person ran the entire community, sooner or later we always end up in this exact spot. I think all members of staff should collectively run and decide everything, and the community should vote for the members of staff instead. Further more, I also think we need to completely get rid of admin ranks in order for this to work. I also think all members of staff need to be paid. How little of much it doesn't matter. Simplify the system. Lose having to go on the forums to apply for everything. Allow players to start companies instantly in game. Allow players to instantly lease businesses wherever they want. Helicopter money to anyone creating RP around these 2 systems. Kill LSRP V entirely. The chances of it succeeding are lesser than the chances of SAMP staying alive at this point. World owns GTA V. Come to terms with this reality and try to salvage what remains. Lastly, and most importantly: FUCK KRISK FUCK KIRIL SOKOLOV FREE SHARIF REYNOLDS FREE RIVA FREE ASESINO FREE DAMIANC UP BAHDBH AND RYE FUCK GTA WORLD

I joined a faction called Valenti in 2010 when I was a teenager. Everyone called them elitists, thought they were overrated and that they will die off at some point. What I found was a tight knight group of people who formed true friendships and managed to stick together for an unthinkable period of time. Through server closures, reopenings, faction being forcibly shut down by the administration at that time, you name it. Nothing ever truly brought this group down. I left for over 10 years and moved on with life. Last year when LSRP reopened I decided to give it one last go for as long as this lasts. I found the same friends I had over 10 years ago and it felt and still feels like not a single day has gone by since I had left. Nothing will ever kill this group.

I think some improvements in terms of payouts can also be done in order to motivate players to log in. People are most likely not going to spend the same amount of time In Game as they used to so I think some "helicopter money" can go a long way. It's never been done but I think it's worth considering and the benefits will outweigh the possible consequences to the server economy, which, obviously is not perfect. A few options would be: - Add a default paycheck increase for all non leading players that are members of Companies. Boost their paychecks depending on rank, can even start with a 3-5k boost / paycheck, that increases as they are promoted within the company. Allow for company points to be used to increase paychecks as well. Motivate players to RP and where it applies, learn to RP, rather than farm scripted jobs endlessly. - Add the company chat even though from what I read there were some concerns it would demotivate unofficial factions from seeking to become official. I think the main motivation behind the official status right now is access to the drug and weapon store, given the fact that the supply of weapons and drugs is currently limited. Most companies seek to employ non faction members as well, who will often be new players too. Company chat can then serve as a platform for them to ask questions regarding the company system, and the scripted jobs that companies are based on. They can get quick answers and take some pressure off testers and admins as well, since older members can guide them for simple questions, related or non related to the company system. - Extend happy hour to also apply to paychecks, savings, interest. It's a good improvement, I noticed an uptick in players when happy hour was introduced. Take it even further to motivate players to log in during dead hours (mornings) as well as peak hours. - Motivate new players by increasing payouts to them. Introduce the old mechanic paycheck back (2.900) for new players up to level 5 or even 10. This coupled with a company paycheck would be a very welcome boost for new players starting their journey on LSRP. - Double the savings interest rate up to a certain amount (500k for example). Being able to deposit and withdraw while having savings is a nice addition. I think this option is also worth considering. - I saw there was a mention of ads being run already. Add a promotion for new players; double starting money for players that come from ads. Or, a free vehicle for those new players to get them started.

The way this thread is going so far proves the community has matured and come a long way from previous iterations. People are not afraid of speaking up and standing up for what they believe. My opinion means fuck all but I’m glad to be part of this community and sincerely hope this turns into a productive discussion between staff and players and hopefully we find a way forward. This still has a chance to succeed.

Crazy prices on everything seem to be a general complaint from new players. Grinding trucking probably gets boring after a while, therefore other options need to be made available too. The quickest one would be to implement a paycheck system over the existing one for all players who are company members. This coupled with the passive income feature mentioned from RageMP but adapted to businesses and companies would potentially encourage players to engage with companies as well as encourage people to fund new companies that rely on pure RP as well, not just scripted jobs. Someone with proper gaming advertisement experience also needs to be brought on board ASAP. This is salvageable, the LS map is big enough that it wouldn't be too crowded with 500 players, but small enough that you don't have to drive for minutes to get from one point to another like the V map. It just needs the proper touch of someone with experience in this domain and there's a good chance this downtrend can be reversed. Otherwise, this is running on borrowed time.

Amazing. If /place would also be added with those same objects for quick scenes it would be a complete feature, it's amazing even without it still.
