Chapter 1 - The Rough Beginning Nicholas Soracco after losing the prison weight. In this photo he's standing next to a Deli downtown. Ever since I can remember, as a kid, I never really wanted to be someone. Never wanted to be successful, never wanted to be known, never wanted to be anything. The only thing I ever really wanted was a casual life, with a normal job that took me from point A to point B, along with a little house in the countryside beside a lake to fish from. That was the perfect life growing up for me, just away from all the stress and headaches that came with living in the city. I was basically running from the streets. But you know, things don't always go as planned. With the decline of my father and a mother who never was around, the only thing that called me was the said thing I tried to run from—the fast life. I got arrested back in 2017 for assault, grand theft, & narcotics possession. I essentially assaulted a guy, took his car, and drove off altogether while under the influence. Served seven years for that. That time was a hard period for me, I was down to my lowest. Money was a big problem in my life, it rarely seemed to come by. And whenever I did get it, it went as fast as it came. Blown it all on either drugs or gambling. Thinking back to my younger self, I imagined how would it all have gone if I had been brought up somewhere else, with a different family. But that's what you call futile thinking, nothing would have changed, it would've all been the same. Now I find myself on the streets of Los Santos, wandering without a goal in mind. However, it's not all bad as most would say. Sometimes even in the rough beginnings, there is always hope for a smooth future. But right now, I'm still at the beginning, and it's still rough. The only thing I have right now is my profession and a couple of solid guys. Hopefully, and just maybe, this time around I can make something work.
