I think overall the mentality of people changed drastically after the closure of LSRP back in 2021, people were actually making factions to have fun, it was just a chill and a very different vibe back then. Some of the factions that exist on this platform currently, some of them came from GTAW which I know is alot more toxic and more tryhard and hardcore, they tend to be more emotionally invested into the server and their character, the more they stay on that server the more their mentality changes, so now you have people with the same mentality, they hop on LSRP and leech that mentality to others. I've seen people who were geniunely kind people and calm people turn 180 into people who would cry over the littlest shit possible (I'm talking writing paragraphs on paragraphs when they report) when they started taking GTAW seriously, all the exclusivity, the fact that you have to fit in with a certain type of crowd in order to even prosper in some factions is wild and strange. I've geniunely seen people's lives turn for the worst cause of the fact that they can't seem to differentiate what's reality and what isn't. People just need to stop attaching themselves to their characters too much else it'll be unhealthy and would cause emotional issues, let go of the OOC ego and all the tryharding and LSRP'll actually become what you guys want the community and environment to be. If LSRP's really destined to die like some of the people I've seen post on this, then why not spend the remaining lifespan of the server ACTUALLY having fun instead of trying to find a way to boost your ego for a game that's probably older or just as old as you? At the end of the day, if this entire thread doesn't help with making LSRP better like some people assume it won't, you might aswell enjoy LSRP for what it is before it falls into the same DM era (may-august 2021) where it's just shooting upon shootings upon shootings and no roleplay at all.
