I'm glad content creators are finally getting some representation and recognition in LSRP. I can foresee a lot of benefits from this system:
Better free marketing for LSRP.
Thus, more players playing on LSRP.
Thus, potentially a better experience for all players on LSRP (new or old).
However, I'm worried that these perks may incentivize a popularity contest. Which, in content creation isn't uncommon, but it does have some potentially problematic effects:
The most popular content by far is action-packed or drama-packed, thus content creators may be incentivized to manifest false drama when they otherwise wouldn't have.
Administration can leverage what kind of content they personally prefer to see, rather than allowing the people to decide for themselves. This can incentivize content-creators to go outside of their area of expertise, and thus potentially may result in subpar roleplay.
The kind of perks, which I personally think would directly benefit content creators and LSRP at large:
Better means of communication between staff & content creators.
Equal treatment of all content creators.
Paid marketing.
Great work on the progress, let's keep it going.
