Forget about LSRP V. That shit dead. Focus all your energy and recourses on LSRP SAMP. Many servers out there have had so many updates and we are still so far behind. Even simple mapping updates that would open up new areas for factions to role-play in arent happening. Look at GTA Chronicles for example their map was 10x ahead of ours and this server has been around forever. TLDR; Forget about GTAV RP. Focus all energy on SAMP.

I think overall the mentality of people changed drastically after the closure of LSRP back in 2021, people were actually making factions to have fun, it was just a chill and a very different vibe back then. Some of the factions that exist on this platform currently, some of them came from GTAW which I know is alot more toxic and more tryhard and hardcore, they tend to be more emotionally invested into the server and their character, the more they stay on that server the more their mentality changes, so now you have people with the same mentality, they hop on LSRP and leech that mentality to others. I've seen people who were geniunely kind people and calm people turn 180 into people who would cry over the littlest shit possible (I'm talking writing paragraphs on paragraphs when they report) when they started taking GTAW seriously, all the exclusivity, the fact that you have to fit in with a certain type of crowd in order to even prosper in some factions is wild and strange. I've geniunely seen people's lives turn for the worst cause of the fact that they can't seem to differentiate what's reality and what isn't. People just need to stop attaching themselves to their characters too much else it'll be unhealthy and would cause emotional issues, let go of the OOC ego and all the tryharding and LSRP'll actually become what you guys want the community and environment to be. If LSRP's really destined to die like some of the people I've seen post on this, then why not spend the remaining lifespan of the server ACTUALLY having fun instead of trying to find a way to boost your ego for a game that's probably older or just as old as you? At the end of the day, if this entire thread doesn't help with making LSRP better like some people assume it won't, you might aswell enjoy LSRP for what it is before it falls into the same DM era (may-august 2021) where it's just shooting upon shootings upon shootings and no roleplay at all.

It’s great to see this conversation still open with so much constructive feedback. Clearly, there’s work to be done if we’re aiming to be an active “serious roleplay” server, whatever that might look like. One thing that really stood out to me, coming back, is how much everyone matters in this game. Every character, every scene, every choice we make shapes the IC environment we’re building together. It’s not about who’s selling the most guns, who’s the richest, or the most feared; it’s about all of us working together to create a fully immersive, engaging city roleplay experience. If we approach the game with this mindset, many of the issues we’re seeing will start to improve. The server will naturally attract more players, and staff will be able to recognize and reward high-quality factions. Those who don’t enjoy realistic roleplay will eventually move on. The best roleplay happens when we respect the time, effort and creativity each player brings to the table; this is not only what sustains the community but also what makes the experience truly rewarding for everyone involved. If you’re looking for a trigger-happy environment or aiming to dominate as the biggest or strongest faction, this might not be the community for you. This is a roleplay community. We’re creating something larger than any one character or faction--a city that feels real because of the unique contributions everyone brings. Without each of us, that world would be incomplete. Our focus should be on raising the quality of our interactions, grounding our characters in realism, and contributing thoughtfully to this shared space.
