  3. I agree with this. Now I understand that some people supposedly have lives outside of this game. I appreciate that there’s people who volunteered to do staff work during their free time without getting anything in return. However, for a server that is actively trying to be an alternative and retain players, I think that we could definitely improve this aspect. The forum paperwork, whether it’s business or faction related, deserves more attention. 72h in my opinion, is an acceptable delay to deal with any application, especially since we’re in the early stages of the server. I’ve had applications taking over a week to get just get a yes or a no. I know that staff analyze and talk over applications to share input, but the reality is that there are players and factions who end up being penalized. Some players are going to go somewhere else if they are not provided with activity whether it’s business openings, company apps or anything drug/weapon related for the illegal side of the server. I remember how W:LC went from 500 players to dying because of lack of player-owned businesses or an illegal trade market. We can only do passive roleplay so much. At some point, most players will get bored, especially with this new generation affected by short-span attention. Once you bring interest into new players, everything has to be made to retain some as much as possible. Give them activity and things to do so they don’t go back to where they came from. Mapping is also another issue that can affect any server. A lot of players have great ideas but struggle to either find a mapper or pay for them. We all know nobody takes a business with a SA default interior seriously. I suggested that we implement a company-based paycheck system for employees, where players can get paid a certain amount per week, after 15-20 hours of activity. This system works on the other server and I believe this can majorly boost legal/civilian roleplay. We can’t all be criminals, there must be regular people as well to have a proper balance. Ex. terrorized people who will spend in security to be safe. @Mmartin
