Brainstorm - News Coverage IG and Forums

Hey there LS-RP.

 

Yaffa here, the CEO of the San Andreas Network (SAN). We have been actively trying to improve our news content, not only on the forums but also within the game itself.

Now, we want to involve all of you in a brainstorm session! We'd love to hear your ideas on how we can better integrate our news content directly into the game server. This isn't limited to just in-game events, but also how we can utilize the forums to better connect with you all.

 

Some questions to consider:

What type of news are you interested in seeing in the game?

How can we engage with the community more effectively, both in-game and on the forums?

Any ideas on in-game events related to news broadcasting?

 

Right now what we can do is create articles on the forums as news coverage but I want to do more. That's why I would like to ask you all for ideas.

 

We're all ears and eager to hear your thoughts! Remember, there's no such thing as a bad idea in brainstorming. Your feedback is immensely valuable and will help us create a more immersive and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Do you have any official ties with government factions? To give you more content it might be worth being in regular contact with PD/SD/FD/GOV public relation departments and get them to alert you of anything in game such as barricaded suspects, interesting jobs, large fires, new government proposals like a real news outlet might follow. I have always liked news stories as it makes the server feel more alive. Keep it up

Right now we're setting all that up. For the LSPD and the SD, so yeah that will be a big addition. Once it's all up and running you will probably see it come to life on the forums.

It would be nice to have SAN have its own website or app IC where players could navigate with news articles through phone. Maybe even watch it live not sure if thats possible tho. But yeah imagine the stuff you can do with the phone script

Hopefully in the near future companies can have their own websites or applications, and this would definitely be great so people can view these rather than the forums.

I made a suggestion for exactly that, I hope something will come of it. That'll be a great addition to the game I think.
