New cars to LS-RP

How about adding more sports cars to the server? The vehicle options haven’t been updated in a long time. Introducing new cars would provide more value and create an outlet for spending, helping to reduce the amount of money in circulation. While it might not completely solve inflation, it would at least remove some money from the server without causing too much pushback from players.

I am thinking of SAMP, sports cars like the Infernus, Cheetah, and Turismo to the server?

We could also introduce off-road options like the Dune and Bandito to give players more variety.

It would be great if the Patriot could be made available for civilians, and if it's possible, we could allow customization for the FBI Rancher by disabling the sirens and change colors and tires.

The Hotring Racer in red and blue could also be added, especially if we can offer custom paint options for them.

Additionally, it might be worth looking through the current vehicle list and adjusting prices to reflect their value better. If possible, maybe even consider creating a dynamic script that adjusts car prices over time, especially to target players with a lot of money, which could help balance the economy a bit more.

What would adding Infernus/Cheetah/Turismo really bring to the server RP wise? It already kills immersion seeing gangsters in Idlewood driving around in their Cheetahs and high end sports cars. I like the existing system where rare cars like Turismos have been auctioned out for 15+ million, that if anything helps drain money from the server.

 

FBI Ranchers and Patriots just feel borderline non rp to use as a civilian. Same goes for Hotring racer and Bandito. They feel like they belong in a free roaming server more than they do in LS-RP.

I guess more sports cars might turn the server into more of a police pursuits game, where players are encouraged to evade the cops rather than stopping and roleplay properly. It could shift the focus away from meaningful interactions and make it tougher for police players to engage in balanced roleplay scenarios.

Hence, I don't believe that It's a good idea to proceed with adding more sports cars 😅

I think best would be adding new cars to the server (there was a mod for it) - cars like Idaho / Sentinel XS / Leone Sentinel / Stinger. (Cars from GTA VC and GTA 3.)
