  2. + THIS THREAD ALONE. LISTEN TO THE FUCKING COMMUNITY, THE PEOPLE WHO MADE THE SERVER. Last thread? Shut down, because of ''bashing the admins.'' Yes we are fucking bashing you when you do not listen and try to make it good, when you can. If 99% of the server is upset and ''bashing'' the staff, should it not set off some alarm bells that you might be doing something wrong? Or it's wrong with all of us 99% and the 1% is right? Hilarious.
  3. If we can get back to even just 120 players at peak, most members would be content and that goal isn't unattainable. Community involvement on top of admins who are motivated and willing to give this a shot could at least move the needle a little. These staff just need to put the ego to the side and actually give it a shot. I've been preaching closing down PD for a while now and still think we should do it. Find some capable leaders for legal factions to function, restrict unofficial factions from spawning and even just prioritize specific factions for types of roleplay until our numbers grow. (Valenti, EHC, 38th, SD etc, just naming off a few). Fix small bugs, fix bigger bugs... Eventually revise scripts. Change the application system and UCP bugs so we can get new players onto the server. Plan to relaunch Q1 2026 at some point. Community involvement again, I can't emphasize that part enough. You got community members that have been here for 10 plus years, who would be willing to put in the work without having the green tag or be apart of staff.
  4. Do your part, packer. Create a tiktok/instagram/OF/X account and promote LSRP as the beacon of text-based heavy RP.
  5. NOW HIRING: BARTENDERS, SECURITY (LICENSED & UNLICENSED), TRUCKERS, DISPATCHERS, RECRUITERS AND MORE!
  6. The biggest problem with LS-RP today is that there is basically no marketing at all. The server is not growing, there is no real effort to attract new players, and it feels stuck while other servers keep moving forward. On top of that, a lot of the staff act like they are on a pedestal, as if they are above the players. Authority gets abused, egos come first, and instead of supporting the community it often feels like staff versus players. There is very little accountability, and many decisions feel completely out of touch with what actually matters in game. Older players in particular get the short end of the stick. People who have been around for years, in some cases decades, are not valued at all. Instead of being respected for helping build the server, they are treated like they do not matter or like they are easily replaceable. The focus is constantly on the wrong things. Way too much energy goes into control and strict rule enforcement, and not nearly enough into community, retention, marketing, or keeping the server healthy in the long run. Until that changes, LS-RP will continue to lose experienced players and waste its potential. Another thing people often say is that everyone has moved on to GTA V or newer games. That completely misses the point. Nobody is talking about pulling in millions of players. We are talking about a healthy, active player base of maybe 600 to 1000 people. That is nothing. There are genuinely terrible mobile games with more active players than that. The real issue is not that interest is gone, it is that people are not being reached at all. If more people actually knew about LS-RP, or even about text based roleplay in general, the server would grow massively. Most people do not even know this type of roleplay still exists. Honestly, this is the only type of video game I truly enjoy playing and I know I am not alone in that. Almost everyone I have personally introduced to this has ended up playing for years. To this day many of them still say it is the most fun they have ever had in a video game. That says a lot. The product itself is not the problem. The visibility and leadership are.
  7. Theyre not interested. They have priorities: Lawnmower script Funny events like paintball and scuba diving Maybe open up RageMP again despite its failure, then close it down, open SAMP, repeat Delay applications and appeals. #SHUTITDOWN
  8. Now for some honest questions that maybe management @badhbh @bobster or anyone else can answer? 1. Thoughts on temporarily shut down the server? I think this can really get people motivated to again want to come back and gives a chance for staff to breath and rethink an honest strategy? Last time the server closed down and reopened a lot of people rejoined and were motivated to come back. 2. Can we brainstorm ways to advertise the server on socials or on YouTube? Got some motivated community members who are very capable in helping out in doing that. 3. Can we have some better developers to fix the bugs and update the script whilst the server is shut down? More thoughts... Easy to access/apply for new players True to the original script back in the golden days Socially alive inside the forums, discord and outside also Fair and transparent staff instead of incompetent power hungry staff? Maintained by people who care AKA community members having some roles?
  9. HEY BUT YOU KNOW LETS DO THE LAWNMOWER SCRIPT SERVER REALLY NEEDED IT OR THE PAINTBALL EVENT
  10. I looked at those appeals and it's unfortunate, though in his October one he couldn't do as little as follow a format and say 'sorry'. In his november one he was caught ban evading. I'm not sure what you expect badhbh to say as a verdict there. Alas, the staff team here has been the worst I've ever seen since LSRP's relaunch. Terrible management isn't a new thing at all, it's just every time that a faction quits or the server goes into a seasonal stalemate, people start to suddenly have a problem about it. I.E. Barons MC loved to reap the boons of trksthtmn being their pocket admin - closing down rival factions at whim given they were fresh enough, this same band of people was later whining in my DMs about how unjust LSRP's management is. I hope this particular example paints a picture of how hypocritical this community is. You're overreacting, and jumping on a bandwagon in dire strait to look like you have an opinion. I'm not even gonna address your other ChatGPT-generated response.
  11. Mass unban is the only play left that actually saves LS-RP from the dirt nap it's heading for. Look at this thread—more activity, more back-and-forth, more actual fun happening right here than on the goddamn server itself. People are literally having a better time shit-talking the corpse than logging into 10-player emptiness, and I can't blame 'em one bit. Streets are dead, but this forum's popping off with real energy. That's your wake-up call. Yeah some clowns might troll again. /ban takes 2 secs, admins are everywhere. Risk? Zero. Reward? Everything. Beats wasting cash on devs nobody logs in for. Do it or die slower. Server's a total diarrhea show on top of it. Sign-up page still lists mmartin as "head developer" like nothing's changed, and you can't even register with a Gmail because the site's that broken. They closed down the old forums for this crap too, like I swear, LSRP staff its like a competition who can make the worst decision for the server at this point. Lmfao. Watch them remove the thread too.
  12. Half year for someone trolling? Add another six months for someone ban evading? Is that realistic to you? And badhbh and other admins dont reply for MONTHS on their appeal, just check their appeals now, poor guy been waiting since October for even a reply. Is it even weird if people start evading then?
  13. Today
  14. its hail mary time mass unban everyone and make packer an admin again, HE is the server
  15. Close the doors and that's it. Management failed and should have left the keys on the table. Without mentioning all the abuses here and the free gifts that were given to whoever was close to the plate, there were players here who invested and helped this server a lot, and in the end, they were left naked with a ban. #SHUTITDOWN
  16. @izumi already did his part in this and I have a faction full of people who left because of his verdicts on half-assed ban appeals. The notion of a mass unban is ridiculous because you can throw together a sob story that's shorter than this message, and use that to nullify a hacking & DM mentality ban (given enough time has passed). A mass unban scenario just opens the floodgates for those worst of the worst, whom can't even put in the effort to ban evade or appeal. It's hardly the answer, and I'd wager that it has led to even further enshittification.
  17. they did it to themselves and i love it. incompetent admins, replicating gtaw rules, playing favorites, providing 0 support to gangs/factions, unjust treatment of staff-less factions and the list goes on. you can cling onto your "positions of power" only to benefit yourself and your faction w 10 people on the server now
  18. You can dress it up with community updates and fancy headers all you want, but anyone who’s actually played here in the last year knows LS-RP isn’t alive anymore, it’s just on life support, and the staff should make it right and do a mass unban to make it survive or enjoy the official death of LS:RP. Ads are keeping the server online, a couple of people log in out of habit, and staff act like that counts as success. Peaks at 15 players, 3 is staff, 7 are AFK, rest is in their house furnishing, or something stupid. That’s not living. That’s just refusing to pull the plug, live or let die. And if you dare to actually speak up about it? Enjoy your mute, your deleted post, or your ban. The “truth tellers”, the people pointing out what everyone can see, get labeled as toxic, troublemakers, or haters and quietly removed instead of listened to. Threads get locked, criticism gets censored, and any attempt at honest discussion is shut down under the excuse of “keeping things civil.” It’s not moderation, it’s control. Watch this post get removed. The worst part is the attitude. Half the staff sit on a high horse like any criticism is a personal attack and any frustration is out of line. Instead of listening to people who stuck around through every restart, every empty phase, every broken promise, they double down and act like the community is the problem. The same community that gave LS-RP its golden years is now treated like a nuisance that needs to be silenced rather than heard. People are literally begging them: take accountability, fix this, or shut it down instead of dragging the corpse around. And what happens? Silence, deflection, bans, and more of the same heavy-handed moderation. All the loyalty, all the years, and this is what it comes to a “community” where the only thing that really thrives is censorship and ego. LS-RP didn’t just randomly fall off. It was pushed. Pushed by staff who would rather be right than be fair, who would rather silence criticism than admit they helped kill the thing they were supposed to protect. Right now, the server is technically surviving, but that’s not a victory. Either own up, actually listen, and start treating players like human beings again, or just be honest and admit it’s over. Dragging this out and pretending it’s fine while banning anyone who says otherwise is the biggest insult of all. Meanwhile, the way admins handle bans is a joke. People get hit with bans for trolling or minor shit and then get left out in the cold for months or YEARS. Waiting weeks or months for a reply. Just look at badhbhs ban appeal, people been sitting there waiting for a reply since October. Like seriously? This is a 20 year old game with a server that peaks at like 10 players and they’re still swinging the hammer like it’s some elite, overflowing community that can afford to bleed people. Rulebreak is rulebreak, sure, but the punishment doesn’t fit the reality. You don’t “save” a dying server by locking more and more people out of it. It's like Batman and Robin, we need the trolls aswell. LS-RP isn’t alive just because the lights are technically still on. A living server has stories, drama, roleplay, events, reasons to log in. This? This is a login screen, a couple of names, and a staff team clinging to control while everything around them is empty. I have insider members working in staff and a lot of them has had enough too but scared to speak up, it's as ruined for them as it is for us, how fun is it to play with 5 players online and ruled with an iron fist? The staff who don't agree are the ones we need to get rid of. Not to mention the literal server owned Krisk who got exposed for being a pedo, which the staff bow down to him and his companion the porn addict Mmartin, they scammed us. What the staff team can do now is do a mass unban seriously, and let it thrive again. If they break rules again? Get them, but seriously restructure this fucking poop fest. And yeah, fucking ban me and censor me like you always do. The server has had enough now, and you see it.
  19. Mow transferred assets awhile ago
  20. Might aswell take accountability now and make it right for the community who always stood loyal to the server or pack it the fuck up and shut this shit show down, seriously.
  21. Oh boy there's a whole lot of lore you missing on, but LSRP always had its issues with management, from pedophile server owners to just inactive ones. Ragemp release was cooked, script wasn't ready and it just failed to keep people engaged and motivated to hop on. It also released after many many delays so people just didn't stick around for it. Which, judging by the sea of SAMP Release broken promises in regards to script updates, they were right to.
  22. I gave a response in the first page, wasn't serious, but it kinda was. I don't know the LSRP lore because I came from GTA World before being permanently banned and wiped off that server. But I think I seen enough, do I think it could become active again, sure. Do I think it's gonna happen? From what I seen and heard probably not. Last I heard Martin was running the show, and he just vanished? And hearing about these scams and whatever else? Probably isn't gonna help the case either, Played the RAGEMP server I don't know what Happened to that LMAO. To keep it real just gotta see in the future, hope for the best though.
