  1. ROLLIN 100s UNDERGROUND CRIPS The Rollin 100s UnderGround Crips, also known as the UnderGround Blocc Crips, are a street gang that originated in the early 1970s in the Westmont neighborhood of South Los Santos. They began as an offshoot of the Westside Crips, with early members such as “Monkey Man” credited as founders. The name "UnderGround" came from the group’s early meetings in a basement on 105th Street, and also reflected their strategy of blending in with the area’s mostly middle-class Black community, making them less identifiable as gang members. Their turf covers the blocks between 103rd and 108th Street, stretching from Normandie Avenue to Denker Avenue, an area long nicknamed “Death Alley” because of its high homicide rate. The gang eventually split into cliques centered around 103rd, 105th, and 107th Streets, and became part of the larger Blocc Crips umbrella. They are also members of the Rollin 100s Crips alliance, a coalition of Crip sets that came together in the 1990s, particularly within the jail system. The UGC maintain close ties with the Neighborhood Crips and have long-standing rivalries with the 107 Hoover Criminals, Eight Tray Gangster Crips, and the Idlewood Family Bloods. In the early 2000s, the area, particularly along Vermont Avenue, was notorious for gang-related shootouts, with the UnderGround Crips being one of the prominent gangs operating in the area. Their influence was largely marked by territorial disputes and clashes with other rival gangs. Law enforcement efforts, including increased patrols and community outreach programs, were implemented to address the gang violence, but challenges persisted due to the deep-rooted nature of gang affiliations and socio-economic factors in the community. The UnderGround Crips still maintain a strong presence in Westmont to this day.
  2. This thread will follow the development of Alepati "Toa" Tuigamala, a neighborhood veteran who has strong ties to the infamous 32nd Street Blue Chuccz, a subset of the Sons of Samoa Crip gang.
