Young Hoggs The West Side 5 deuce Hoover Gangster Crips, also known as the Young Hoggs, are an active and long-standing African American street gang founded in South Los Santos. They originated around 52nd Street and Hoover Street, between El Rancho and Innocence Blvd. They were founded in the 1970s. The Young Hoggs were one of the most activist subsets within the early 1980s. They were known for their trafficking with other hoover gangs such as the 74 Hoovers, along with being known for the ruthless crimes they had done in the streets of Los Santos. The 52 Hoovers are the only hoover set that stayed under the Crip card. Trafficking with the Hoggs Throughout the 1980s the 52 Hoovers and the 74 Hoovers were some of the biggest drug traffickers when it came to street gangs, if not the biggest in Los Santos. Articles stated that the 52 hoovers and 74 hoovers had many trap houses across El Rancho. Authorities ended up estimating the money that the 52 hoovers and the 74 hoovers were making. The money approximately came up to around 500,000 to 1 million dollars. Over the last few decades, drug trafficking with the Hoggs has slowed down because of RICO Cases and because of their huge loss of members. Hell On Western Ave. On July 29th, 2018, a 28-year-old member known as Jasaun Hall or Hardhead#4 from Rollin’ 40 Crips was shot and killed on a Sunday. He was a well-respected gang member from the Rollin 40 Crips. It was stated that two rival gang members of the Rollin 40 Crips known as the 5 Deuce Hoover and Black P Stones killed Jasaun Hall on July 29th, 2018. Jasaun was later killed around 8:30 PM on the 1000th block of West 43rd Street an Western Ave.. He was outside of the Monarch Liquors store when he ended up dying by two rival gang members from 52 Hoover and Black P Stone. A couple of people who witnessed the shooting said they saw an all-black four-door sedan, and a white sedan driving away from the scene, they also said they heard about a dozen shots led off at the scene. were also two bystanders who ended up getting shot on this hit done by the 5 Deuce Hoovers and the Black P Stones. The death of Jasaun affected a lot of people. Articles stated that the 52 Hoovers block ended up getting shot up very frequently during the month that Jasaun died.
