Everyone knew for a while regulation was going to come. The main thing is just not having them dubbed as securities. BTC is mainly safe from this given there's no company controlling it as say a stock. I'm pretty sure with the announcement of Fednow payment system and the move to go more digital. They'll be take a even more serious look. It'll be interesting to see.
As for forex, never really cared for it as Crypto is the riskiest I'm willing to go. I split my investment by 4, crypto risky play, stock less risk, 401k, and 457. I'm only even in crypto because I was lucky enough to get in the space in early 2017 or else I probably wouldn't even care for it.

Like I said I agree with the GTA:World comment, but the concept here isn't original enough to have longevity.

Things you may not like about GTA:World exist, but they have a great foundation.
How will LS:RP compete?
Again, not trying to bash, I want to play here too, but it's hard to gain my trust as I was a 10 year player here.
Learn from past mistakes.
I'd say just wait and see for the to answer the compete question. Outside of that I think the other point you have is uniqueness, the server is still being worked on and there's more unique things being added. The transparency has been somewhat answered already.

It's not exploitive, it's opportunistic. There's plenty of light roleplay servers on both platforms but there's been very few English speaking heavy roleplay servers with a decent player base. But again, I suppose that depends on your interpretation of "heavy."
There's no need to point out the obvious. If your take on this is the "focus of this server is lsrp and lsrp only" then you're talking to a brick wall.
Alright I'll try to address this in points.
0. The "illegal roleplay shouldn't be prioritized" quote you brought up doesn't invalidate anything I said, as the main issue brought forth by yourself that we need to "learn" from is illegal roleplay being the "foundation". Which is solid feedback as we've been hearing it a lot. I was just more so pointing out that being the main points amongst all the text walls.

3. No, I stated the "obvious" to more direct the conversation towards what you felt the "old lsrp" had as mistakes that we need to learn from. For example one of the things was transparency, which was responded to with weekly staff meetings.

I'll reiterate mainly because this is typing and you can't really hear how I'm saying this as it's in a none argumentative way, but I fully agree with your point. The point of making all aspects equal and not putting one over the other (I.E) putting illegal roleplay down while cratering towards legal . My point is that I think you'll be hard pressed to find someone in staff who doesn't agree with this and it's already an issue is being addressed, keeping all aspects equal. I'm just looking for more honest past mistakes from our community that could be addressed.

samp had tons of English rp text ranging form light to heavy vying for the same player base. It wasn't just LSRP.
Anyways, you're saying a lot of aphorism that read good, but if you take two steps it all sums up to focus; "on illegal rp." with a lot of wise quotes thrown in the midst to make it sound good. This is one of the focuses but there are many more rp wise. Overall the main focus of this server is lsrp and lsrp only.

bought day before it launched, played for 1 hour, refunded after encountering several glitches, one that made me refund didnt allow me to continue some club mission cause it kept telling me to come back at a certain time and when i came back at that time I was still blocked from going in, 10/10 game.

I would like to see this gone. This should not be the goal, the goal should be to portray a realistic police department with what's given to you on hand, basing the department off of the lapd and portraying them to the best of your ability whilst adding your own twist to make it unique. 1:1 should not be the goal as you'd throw away suggestions simply because the "lapd doesn't do that." when another department might/ it might make sense for a game. If you really "strive as a faction to be 1:1 with the LAPD" have everyone name themselves after a LAPD officer and just name change the faction to the lapd, as this would meet that goal. The strive should be "Portraying a realistic police department based off the LAPD". Police departments tend to change their policies to match the community at hand, the Los Santos community will be a lot more "active" than LA with the crime statistics alone given it's low population but most likely very high crime rate.

The server is not open yet.
You will need to download ragemp from https://rage.mp and install, click on any server to test it out and get a feel for it.
Uh any tips would just be to understand what the server is, being a heavy text roleplay server.

If you want to invest, invest properly - real estate, stakes at companies that have a good portfolio (it's a workload, but it is much more safer).

Anyone drive a Genesis? Are they somewhat reliable? The GV80 coupe looks really nice even tho its only a concept now but apparently it's going to be made into a real thing for like 80k. Really considering buying it, but no one I know really owns a Genesis to say if its a decent brand or not.
