COMPANY APPLICATION Company Owner: Yumiko Nakamura Company Co-Owner (if any): None Have you received any admin punishment in the last 3 months? No Company Thread: Nocturnal is a private investigative and media agency based in Los Santos, providing discreet investigative services and public investigative reporting. The company focuses on corporate, civilian, and public-interest cases, combining field investigations, analytical research, and media publication. Operations are strictly IC and maintain full compliance with LS-RP rules regarding commands, vehicles, and IC interactions. For now we have no current thread for the rebrand, but this idea serves an expansion to Nakamura Solutions, which was born as an idea after I got accepted for the detective side-job. Since then this has been my main focus and I've hired members relevant to this job. Unfortunately the real estate business is complicated due to complex ownerships so flipping properties is not something that's profitable or engaging players. If we get accepted I'll rebrand and start a new thread for our company and I promise it's going to be beautiful. Instead of focusing on multiple areas I want to focus on one and that will be investigative media and solutions. As to follow the rules I'm applying for this company separately as a rebrand to Nakamura and I wish to retain all the current scripts and functionalities I have. I apologize for any inconveniences, but I want to provide the server with roleplay that is enjoyed by everyone. Will the company be associated with a faction? No Company Members: Yumiko_Nakamura (CEO) Alice_Winter (Consultant) Jayden_Holleran (Junior Agent) Company Name: Nocturnal Type of Company: Private Investigation & Media Agency. Services include: Private investigative work for individuals and organizations. Surveillance and evidence collection. Public investigative reporting and IC media coverage. Analytical research and documentation of cases. Company Location: Will start of based in Resale & Loan though that business will probably be moved and rebranded eventually as well either through business or company script. Is the company already established?: Yes. Nocturnal Investigations is an expansion/rebrand of Nakamura Property Group, which currently operates in real estate, pawn and private investigations. Existing assets, vehicles, and script will be retained while the company shifts focus solely to investigative and media operations. What vehicles do you wish to start with? (Max 2): Sentinel – Surveillance & investigative operations. Yosemite – Transport and field operations. The above are already owned by Nakamura and I don't request any additional vehicles at this time. How do you plan on running and developing the company?: Nocturnal Investigations will operate as a discreet, private investigative and media agency. The company plan includes: Phase 1 – Establish Investigative Branch: Launch private investigations and surveillance operations for IC clients. Investigate popular public cases to gain reputation as a reliable source of truth. Conduct field research and gather evidence for ongoing cases. Phase 2 – Develop Media Operations: Publish IC reports and investigative media content under the company brand. Build a reputation for reliability, professionalism, and discretion. Phase 3 – Full Operational Expansion: Formalize investigative and media teams with clear IC ranks and responsibilities. Tie company property to scripts for HQ, offices, and case operations. Maintain monthly activity reports, case summaries, and public media releases as required by the company system. I see this company being active for the next 2 years.

Hey, I'll be doing 2nd chapter to this story here:
-
In Japan, a lineage of families maintained traditions centered on martial discipline, ritual loyalty, and secrecy, with the dragon serving as a profound symbol of ancestral strength and purity. These customs, quietly passed down through rural communities, eventually traveled across the Pacific. By the early 20th century, these values had found expression in groups like the Gen’yōsha and the Kokuryūkai, the latter founded by Uchida Ryōhei. These societies were known for their strict internal codes, disciplined training, and covert alliances, leaving an underground legacy that would continue to shape generations. Following the outbreak of World War II, this legacy found an unexpected new home in the United States. Many Japanese Americans were unjustly imprisoned in internment camps, including the one at Manzanar. Within the confines of the camp, a group aof young men and women, rooted in their shared heritage and a need for solidarity, formed the Manzanar Kuroryūkai, a group that adopted the "Black Dragon" name as a symbol of their unity and resilience. Though their activities were often born of desperation, they forged an unbreakable code of loyalty that was paramount for survival. After the war, the internment camps closed, and a new generation of Japanese Americans, bearing the deep scars and lessons of their experience, dispersed. Many of the Manzanar Kuroryūkai and their descendants formed street-level crews in California, carrying with them the code of loyalty and solidarity forged in the camps. A number of these individuals eventually moved to Los Santos, where they established themselves within a small but rapidly growing enclave in Little Tokyo. This community, born from a shared history of displacement and survival, was mostly quiet on the surface but always keenly aware of its surroundings. It was into this world that Yumiko Nakamura was born. She grew up with an implicit understanding of the community's hidden rules, spending her time around shops and back offices where complex deals were made with a simple nod or a knowing glance. Her world was not one of overt violence, but of silent observation and strategic thinking. She learned to read people and situations—what they desired, what they concealed, and what they valued above all else. This upbringing instilled in her a profound sense of discipline and a quiet understanding of power, teaching her to listen more than talk and to keep things close to the vest. An old photograph, discovered in an archive labeled "LS Historical Society: 1942–49", depicts a building with a dragon mural painted above the doorway. The mural's artist is unknown, and the piece is absent from all city records. Given the mural’s style and the community’s reverence for the dragon symbol, it is speculated to have been a gathering place for the second-generation Japanese Americans of the area—a landmark of their shared culture, history, and resilience.

A photo captured in Little Tokyo, Los Santos. Subject identified as Yumiko Nakamura, shielding her face with a phone upon noticing the camera. Location appears unrelated to her known business front, Resale & Loan, which operates in a different district. Time-stamp unknown. Nakamura is loosely tied to municipal government and rarely seen outside official functions.

In Japan, certain families upheld traditions centered on martial discipline, ritual loyalty, and secrecy—values woven into local clan ceremonies and esoteric Shintō rites. Dragon symbols played a key role in coastal rituals and rain-making ceremonies, representing ancestral strength, purity, and power. These customs were passed down through rural communities, carried later into cities and abroad. By 1901, the Gen’yōsha (“Black Ocean Society”) had emerged, founded by former samurai and traditionalists led by Mitsuru Tōyama. Shortly after, Uchida Ryōhei created the Kokuryūkai (“Black Dragon Society”). These groups were known for their disciplined training, coded loyalty, and secretive alliances—an underground legacy of ritual and discipline. During WWII, Japanese Americans were imprisoned at camps like Manzanar. Within the camp, youth groups united into what became known as the Manzanar Kuroryūkai ("Manzanar Black Dragons"). Though their early acts were petty—raiding rations, harassing others—they fostered a strong internal code and solidarity. Following internment, some of these groups formed street-level crews in California, carrying forward the code of loyalty and solidarity forged in the camps. In San Fierro, descendants of these men organized into crews rooted in shared history and survival ethos. In early 20th‑century Japan, a family tradition grounded in secrecy, discipline, and loyalty took root—values quietly carried across the Pacific over generations. Some left San Fierro for Los Santos, joining growing enclaves in neighborhoods like Little Tokyo. Yumiko Nakamura grew up in Little Tokyo, Los Santos—a neighborhood that was mostly quiet but always watching. She spent time around shops, back offices, and parking lots where deals were made without needing words. Her world wasn’t violent, but it taught her how people moved—what they wanted, what they hid, what they’d trade. She learned to listen more than talk, and to keep things to herself. That’s how she got here. This photo surfaced in an archive labeled 'LS Historical Society: 1942–49'. Depicted is a weathered-era building with a bold dragon mural above the doorway. The mural’s artist remains unknown, and it’s absent from city planning diagrams or county records. Given the dragon’s scale and the unique border, some speculate it was painted to mark a gathering place for second-generation Japanese-Americans—a cultural landmark long since forgotten. This thread will follow the character development of Yumiko Nakamura.
