OOC INFORMATION: Iron Order Outlaw Motorcycle Club is a fully custom project. It is inspired by the culture and history of real-life outlaw motorcycle clubs, but built with its own unique identity and storyline centered around Fort Carson, San Andreas. The project was developed by @ganchew, @accursed and @Eren with the goal to provide authentic, character-driven roleplay that captures the outlaw MC lifestyle, from the brotherhood and traditions, to the conflicts and criminal operations tied to the club world. Everything portrayed in-game is purely for entertainment and immersion. We want to emphasize that we do not support or condone racism, discrimination, or violence in real life. Any such elements portrayed in the faction exist only as part of the in-character environment, to add depth to the story and atmosphere. Everyone is welcome to join, even without prior experience in this style of roleplay. We are happy to help and guide anyone who wants to develop their character within this environment. If you have any questions or are interested in the project, you can reach out to @ganchew, @accursed or @Eren.

If anyone is using a standalone VPN (not a browser extension or a built into browser VPN), it's worth noting that whilst you don't need VPN permission for the forums you will need it in game. Make sure to either turn the VPN off or go and apply for VPN permission before using one.

Apologies, wasn't my intention to lump everyone into the same boat. Obviously any comment made has outliers, and it's nice to see you guys being the outliers in this scenario. On a genuine tho, what's a pinning ceremony? Furthermore, feel like we're all being quite negative. I said it on another thread where I'm discussing the standards of LEO driving at the minute but there are some LEO roleplayers out there who are honestly golden. I also have a lot of time for SD leadership currently, all my interactions with them have been genuinely golden. I've not had the honours of interacting with PD since Lemon and Consistency did a switch but I've been told it's better.

I'm not anti LSPD or LSSD, I think both are doing class in their own rights. What I would like to see from both is more character development. When was the last time you saw anyone in PD or SD off duty? It seems most of them spawn at the station and go straight onto /duty and then go out patrolling. Like I know police officers work a fair few hours but to have absolutely zero social life is a lot. If I had if my way I would genuinely remove spawning at the station and have people actually RP their commute into and out of work but I don't see a world in which that happens, especially with the ability to respawn when you /q now. I don't think a rule around it would work, but I definitely think the respective faction leadership teams should be having conversations with people about actively being off duty and developing their characters off duty as well as on duty.

Appreciate the response. I'd like to counter your grey area comment first if that's okay, instead of how I usually work which is top down. Reason being, I entirely disagree that there is a grey area. I'd rather PD or SD lose the suspect, roleplay the crash and then roleplay the investigation to find the suspect again. Furthermore, pursuing anything is difficult when you've just had a crash that should realistically be writing off your patrol car. Trust me, I know. I did it IRL. And got laughed at for about a week afterwards AND had to sit a refresher course. As someone who works in law enforcement IRL (UK I accept), public safety comes first. I did a three week blues course and a two week pursuit course and all of them are clear. If the risk is too great, abort the pursuit or the run. Better late than dead. I routinely abort pursuits (or used to, I have a comfy office based role now) for safety reasons or because I'm not comfortable for whatever reason. It used to throughly disappoint the students but oh well. Safety first. In-game, you routinely see PD and SD do some absolutely insane stunts to catch a suspect with little regard for themselves or their own wellbeing. It seems (personally to me at least) our LEO roleplayers are that focused on catching the bad guys in a pursuit that sometimes they get the so called "red mist" and forget what's going on around them. Obviously not everyone falls under this banner and a lot of LEO roleplayers are class (special shout out to @Clack who has a future at the top of an LEO faction and should be nurtured to get there) but unfortunately a lot do. I'd love to sit here and say that since I've posted this standards have magically improved but unfortunately they haven't. Police collisions (to use an IRL word we use in the UK, POLAC or POLCOL) continue to be at an all time high and I've still yet to see one where an LEO roleplayer actually stops. I'm sure they happen, but they're very few and far between. Again none of this is there to bash anyone, I want to make that extremely clear. My goal was to bring awareness to it and start a discussion around how we can actually go about improving it. (On a less serious, slightly jokier note to end I vote we hold an ingame driving session akin to the real world blues courses. Everyone would be in tears. Worst yet best thing I ever did)

I'll give you. You're doing an annoyingly accurate portrayal of a detective lmao. -
Hello! Let's have a chat about the SAMP Government faction, moreso their Code Enforcement branch. Before we begin, I just want to make it clear that I have no real issues with Code Enforcement as a concept. I am very heavily supportive of business licenses, there is no issue with quickly filling out a five minute form and having a quick inspection prior to opening. That bit of the Code Enforcement branch, absolutely no issues with. However, to me that is where the role of Code Enforcement should end. I personally believe their "random spot checks" they do are going much too far recently. I gave an example earlier on discord of a business I saw that was meant to have a guard as part of licensing conditions apparently (or something like that, I'm not entirely sure). They tried, couldn't get one but still opened to provide that roleplay hub. It was genuinely busy in there and Code Enforcement killed it. I know the argument will be "oh well they should have had a guard" but a server of one hundred it really isn't that easy. Very few people wanna stand there like a bot going "ID please" and "/me checks ID" on a loop. The current state of the server doesn't justify it. We shouldn't be targeting licensed businesses once they've done the work. I'll summarise quickly. I don't think Code Enforcement should be actively taking down businesses that are looking to actively bring roleplay to LS-RP. I get the purpose of Code Enforcement and I love the concept behind them. I just don't think the concept unfortunately fits the server in its current place. I'm all for business registration but we shouldn't be punishing businesses who are just trying to bring active RP to the server in the servers current states. I'd appreciate others thoughts on this.

Ooo. Go kill it lads.
