  1. It's something I've been saying for a while. Short form content, spam it everywhere. Cant get new players if no one knows about it. The more people that know and see, the more people will join. It's how I joined the server back in like 2012-2013. I seen gang drive by videos and was like "wtf is this". I had to have it and was hooked for years. There really should be a big push towards marketing. Doesn't have to be in-depth, just short form reels showing off aspects of the server.
  2. Other than what has already been said. Sometimes I wonder why LSRP isn't being spammed across social media and advertised. Would be a start to actually promote the server across a wider audience. I think there should be a team that creates videos, reels, shorts or whatever with a link to the server and forums.
  3. Been a long time member of the server since 2013. The one thing that sticks out the most is the lenient punishment or zero punishment compared to when the server was at it's peak. I remember being scared to break rules because it could turn into a month ban if you stepped out of line and Ajails were handed out quickly if you were being an idiot, in return it forced people to abide by the rules if they wanted to experience the best RP server there is. It's been said numerous times in this thread and on top of that, the attitude from some of the staff. I'm not in any staff teams so I dont have first hand experience but I've definitely heard how bad it can be to get things done due to someone being inactive or refusing to give permissions to do certain things. The staff team should be filled with people that want to build the server and player base at the core. There needs to be change and one of the big changes it seems would be to appoint new staff and give them the powers that they require to make changes on the spot instead of waiting weeks to hear back from someone for them to say "[insert name] says no". There shouldn't be this much bureaucracy for something so simple and admin jails should be handed out far more often than they are. It's a deterrent in the end. You used to see people being a-jailed constantly back in the day. I cant remember the last time I actually seen an a-jail that wasn't a ck. Hacking seems to be a huge issue these days too. Everyone is a half time dm'er that NEEDS to win against their rivals on the server. It drains the fun out of gang rp because there's a 50/50 chance the people you are beefing with IC are going to block wipe you and everyone else in seconds using nametags and aimbot and nothing can be done about it because there's no anti-cheat. I used to be scared to install CLEO mods because it would get you banned. This issue goes back to having staff members who care and are willing to a-jail and ban people suspected of hacks.
  4. Good to see another MC. 🔥
  5. Are GTAV server even active? From my understanding they are have similar player base numbers as SAMP. More advertising, more features and easier start for new players. Which means more money when starting out. Purge the damn houses, every single house on the server is taken and I guarantee a massive amount are inactive. If someone starts playing and looks at the economy of LSRP, they are most likely highly demotivated because they are never going to afford a house, never going to afford drugs or guns and lets face it. The server runs on illegal RP. It's not like back in the day with 400 players peak where you cant even join because it's full. This means new players are far less likely to see the point in grinding for literally hundreds of hours in order to gather some cash to actually enjoy RP, buy guns, start factions, buy cars and houses.
