Scenario summary: Onika Maharaj and Ornell “Iceman” Yards — a figure who can be seen as a mentor — are two opposing personalities, although they follow the same god (by walking different paths). Onika, though street-smart, doesn’t have the heart or the mindset to stay out on the streets and take part in the soldier-type activities that would be expected of her. During her time in Iceman’s crew, Onika has always harbored an interest (and above all a need) to base her plays on other aspects of street life — something that would match her skills. Thanks to the advice of her best friend, Nyell Portell, Nika decides to flip the gameplan she was offered and start doing things her way: she dusts off the knowledge that suits her best — the Internet. Onika wants to build income streams through platforms set up on encrypted networks: dark web, metanet. The idea is to create a connection between her products and services (drugs, weapons, fake IDs, forged gun licenses) to reinvest in her own, legit business. The shooting down in Santa Maria just sped up the process, leaving Onika yet again emotionally scarred and helpless. Related posts: Touch With Reality / Friends or Foe / Only You Can Tell It7 points

Black Organized Crime in modern day Los Angeles is decentralized - heavily rooted in prison networks, streetgangs, and out of state DTO's using the city as their stomping grounds. Our faction hosts a wide variety of characters to accurately reflect this. Great attention is placed on fostering long-running storylines that tie every person in the faction together, as well as offer depth to each individual one's portrayal. Membership is open to both new and pre-established African-American characters, queries about joining should be sent to @boris1 or @Iamkaciii @Gnarp.3 points

Police Raid Dismantles Fierce Protection Gang Operating Across Northern San Andreas By Tyler Hawthorne | Los Santos Times | October 5, 2025 The Los Santos Police Department’s Major Crimes Division has successfully taken down a violent extortion ring from the rural community of Tierra Robada that had been demanding “protection fees” from construction sites and small businesses across northern San Andreas. For several months, detectives from the LSPD’s northern branch conducted a covert investigation into the gang, whose members were allegedly involved in a string of intimidation campaigns and protection rackets stretching from Montgomery to Blueberry. Last month, investigators followed several gang members who left Tierra Robada in two vehicles — a black Sentinel and a white Boxville van — heading toward the Flint County region. Officers discreetly tailed the suspects until they reached a remote open area near Fort Carson. According to police, once there, the suspects unloaded an ATV from the van and drove toward a construction site on the outskirts of Las Venturas. The trio reportedly broke into the fenced compound, vandalized heavy equipment, and stole critical engine parts and tools. After the heist, the gang buried the stolen items in the desert outside Fort Carson, intending to later extort the site’s owner by offering to “help recover” the missing materials — for a hefty fee. When the suspects began returning toward Tierra Robada, detectives coordinated with tactical units for an ambush. Near the Montgomery Intersection, a command drone gave the signal, and LSPD task forces surrounded both vehicles in a swift and precise operation. Three suspects — aged 21, 22, and 31 — were arrested without resistance. Further investigation revealed that days before the raid, a man “appearing to be from the desert region” approached the construction foreman, offering paid “security services” to protect the site. When the offer was declined, the site was attacked shortly thereafter. Detectives believe this was part of a systematic effort to pressure business owners into paying for protection. The Los Santos County District Attorney’s Office announced today that formal indictments will be filed against the five suspects for extortion, criminal damage, and grand theft. Authorities say the operation marks a significant victory in the fight against organized crime networks preying on local businesses across San Andreas, particularly in Blaine County and northern Los Santos. “We’re sending a clear message — intimidation and extortion will not go unanswered,” said Detective Marcus Hall of the LSPD Major Crimes Division. “No one is above the law, no matter how remote their operations are.”1 point

New Gang Emerges in Idlewood Amid Loose Ties to Crystal Garden Bloods By Tanner Noble Published: January 03, 2025 After the sweeping arrests that dismantled the Crystal Garden Bloods, Frontline MOB, a new gang has appeared in the northern parts of Idlewood. Although authorities successfully removed key figures, the power vacuum has invited fresh criminal activity. Law enforcement has noted a spike in drug trafficking, illicit firearms, and violent incidents in the area. While the emerging group is not directly linked to the former gang, loose connections to past members may play a crucial role in its evolution. Captain Raul Mendoza of the Idlewood Police Department warned, “There’s concern that some key figures may still be at large and influencing this new organization behind the scenes.” Residents, who had hoped for lasting change after the recent busts, now worry about renewed turf wars and instability. Community leaders are urging for enhanced support measures—such as expanded youth programs and economic opportunities—to help deter vulnerable individuals from criminal involvement. As law enforcement intensifies its surveillance, the future of Idlewood remains uncertain. Whether this new gang will grow to match the notoriety of its predecessor is yet to be determined, but officials remain determined to prevent another cycle of crime and violence. LSPD Officer Killed, New Gang Suspected in Targeted Execution By Tanner Noble Published: March 17, 2025 The execution of LSPD Sergeant I Miguel Ruano has sparked a statewide investigation and drawn attention to a newly emerged street gang in South Los Santos. Authorities believe the killing was carried out by members of the 59th & Harlow Bloods—a recently surfaced set with suspected ties to the defunct Frontline MOB. Ruano, a veteran gang enforcement officer, was abducted in Los Santos and later found dead at a remote airstrip in Las Venturas. Police say the attack was calculated and intended as a direct message to law enforcement. “This wasn’t random,” said Captain Raul Mendoza of LSPD. “This was about sending a signal.” Though 59th & Harlow was not previously known to police, early intel suggests the group may be made up of younger affiliates seeking to rebuild turf once held by Frontline MOB, which saw its leadership dismantled in past federal cases. In response, LSPD has launched targeted operations across South LS, hoping to prevent further violence. Community leaders, however, stress that enforcement alone won’t be enough. “If we don’t address what drives young people into gangs, we’ll be here again,” said youth advocate Liana McNabb. As Ruano is laid to rest, the city braces for what may come next—uncertain whether this new gang presence will burn out or escalate further.1 point
