As Daniel recommended, The Rookie is amazing, and is also pretty fitting since it takes place in LA.

 

However, The Bear is an absolutely amazing show too that's pretty recent, if you're interested in food and the restaurant business it's definitely a great watch! Season 2 was just released aswell.

The Rookie is alright but it has some unrealistic elements (and by some I mean a lot), and it kinda makes me cringe knowing the LAPD culture in depth. It does a good job with the uniforms, but the sheer amount of action and being in twenty shootouts before reaching the rank of a P2 just seems unsettling. Just my take on it, though!
