The gun business.

That’s where the real power was. Not just the money but.... the influence... The fear... The respect.
Quietly, he started laying the groundwork. Building connects, earning trust, watching who moved what and where. He learned the trade like he learned everything else... step by step, chess not checkers.
 

Darius Cook was on the come up, but he wasn’t reckless. Every move was calculated, every risk measured. The rap game gave him fame, the drug game gave him cash... but the gun business? That was legacy money.

He didn’t care about squeezing a trigger. That was for crash dummies. What he cared about was moving weight, no matter the form. Coke, pills, or steel... it was all supply and demand. And in his city, demand never slept.
