The Detective Bureau (DB) is the primary investigative unit within the Los Santos Police Department, providing functional leadership for detective operations citywide. The Bureau consists of two main divisions: the Victoria Area Detective Division (VADD) and the Gang and Narcotics Division (GND). The Victoria Area Detective Division, led by Police Captain II Anthony Perrino, operates out of Victoria Station. VADD detectives handle a wide range of investigations, including homicides, burglaries, arson, and crimes against persons, focusing on area-specific cases within their jurisdiction. The Gang and Narcotics Division, led by Police Captain III Frederick Marsh, is responsible for addressing gang-related crime and narcotics offenses. The division has two key units:

Gang Support Section (GSS): This unit consists of citywide gang detectives tasked with investigating gang homicides and other gang-related crimes.

Gang Enforcement Detail (GED): Often referred to as the division’s "workhorses," GED officers focus on the enforcement of search and arrest warrants, intelligence gathering on gang activities, and the documentation of gang members, emerging gangs, and their associated tags and graffiti.

This screenshot thread will document the day-to-day roleplay that Detectives are tasked with, some cases that have been closed will be partially revealed to show the investigative work that Detectives do in the pursuit of justice.
