Y'know what? This actually stings a little bit. I genuinely had a pretty good time in Warlocks, for what it's worth this is probably where I found my love for roleplay again.

 

Some of the folk involved here were top class. Shame to see y'all go after such a long spell.

What happened between us at the end… it’s hard not to take those words to heart. I truly appreciate it, and I hold a great deal of affection for you because of it.

It has been over a year since this faction was founded, and one thing I can say with certainty is this: if it weren’t for the love within the group and the close, unwavering bond between our people, all of this would have ended far sooner. IFT has made many mistakes regarding us, including the fact that the Strawmen Scheme was given to us far too late. Even considering our activity, quality, and the amount of work we consistently put in, we were “recognized” much later than we should have been, and granted candidate status long after others who contributed significantly less.

And now, when the server is dying and factions are one of the few remaining forces keeping it alive, you would expect efforts to ensure those factions stay, to finally give them the things they have long earned. But they don’t. Decisions are made based on personal whims and “I don’t like them,” rather than merit.

 

As for IFT’s members, the only genuinely positive thing I can say is that Aloosh is the single bright spot among them, at least from the ones I’ve had contact with. Unfortunately, most of IFT treats this role as nothing more than a title, without giving any real attention to the work it demands. This became painfully obvious during the turf map request and in the faction handler they assigned to us.
