Who We Are

Laborers' Local 303 was founded to give a collective voice to the workers who build and maintain our cities. From roads to skyscrapers, bridges to power
plants,
our members are the backbone of San Andreas' booming construction industry. But we don’t stop there. As industries connected to construction
continue to grow,
so does our reach. Transportation, waste management, and other key services that keep our cities running smoothly are now part of our
expanding family. Together, we are stronger, louder, and more influential than ever before.

Our Mission

At Local 303, we stand for:

  • Job Security: We fight for fair contracts and long-term employment opportunities for our members.
  • Safety First: On-site safety is our top priority, ensuring our members return home safe at the end of each workday.
  • Training and Advancement: With cutting-edge training programs, we equip our members with the skills they need to stay
    competitive
    and grow in their careers.
  • Worker Rights: We are dedicated to protecting workers' rights, negotiating with employers to secure better wages, benefits, and
    working
    conditions.

Industries We Serve

While construction is at the heart of what we do, Laborers' Local 303 is proud to now represent workers across multiple industries:

  • Construction: From high-rise buildings to public infrastructure, we represent the skilled labor force that powers the construction sector.
  • Transportation: As the demand for efficient transportation grows, so does our role in advocating for workers in freight, logistics, and
    transit.
  • Waste Management: A cleaner, safer San Andreas starts with the men and women who work in waste collection, disposal, and recycling.

Jeffery Higgins, president of Laborers' Local 303, began his career as a construction worker in Los Santos, quickly earning a
reputation for his leadership and dedication to worker safety. Rising through the union's ranks, Higgins played a pivotal role in
securing project labor agreements for housing developments in underserved communities, ensuring fair wages and local job
creation. His efforts have also expanded the union's influence into transportation and waste management. Despite the economic
challenges of recent years, Higgins’ leadership has kept Local 303 resilient, continuing to grow and protect the rights of its members.
