Joel "Jay/J" Martinez

Joel "J" Augusto Manuel Martinez J.J.A.M.M Born April 20th, 2007 (17) in the City of San Fierro, San Andreas. To a Mexican-American Mother, and Father divorced but raised with the Chicano Culture. To those who don't know what "Chicano" means let me give you a brief definition of Chicano. According to Oxford Dictionary, Chicano means "an American of Mexican origin or descent, especially a man or boy." Particularly to those who were born out in the Golden State of San Andreas (( California IRL )). Caring for your people of your ethnic decent. But for J, that wasn't the case. Growing up he was a typical American little boy who didn't know what the word "thugs, and criminals" were. He was just a child who wanted to play. Though, with a friendly demeanor like any other kid in Elementary School. It wasn't until going into Junior/Middle and High School that things started to take a turn for Joel's young life. Joel started making trouble with his peers, starting from simple horseplay (throwing a pencil at someone jokingly, pulling someone's backpack strap) to fights boxing style or street (10-second slap boxing, fist fights in general.) This resulted in Joel receiving numerous suspensions, leading to expulsion from LS High School. While searching for alternative education schools via Joel's Mom. (Note: Joel never had a father figure in his life.) Joel received his first criminal conviction as an adult, while under the age of 18. Turning a simple misdemeanor charge into a Felony. (1x) Convicted of Criminal Threats, (1x) Reckless Evading of a Peace Officer, (1x) Misdemeanor Resisting a Peace Officer and (2x) Speeding (70 in 40). Some might wonder why Joel decided to commit these crimes. It was because, he admired the gang life portrayed in the rap music. This gave Joel a sense of pride, with a great feeling of the adrenaline rush, fight or flight. Some might say Joel has a mental challenge, he is very impatient after all. Just don't cross his path. Of-course after the show went down, Joel's mom was notified, infuriating her. turning to the present now. Joel's Mom after putting up with Joel's malarkey, she decides to call a relative to take him in, but when that person refused. The mom abandoned Joel, leaving him at the Los Santos International Airport. Joel has since made money by picking up trash, attempting to establish a survivable income. Whether I'd be through a legal way or illegal way, Joel will find a way to make his bread.

Introduction into Los Santos:

Joel makes his way to Idlewood Pizza Stacks from Los Santos International Airport after his flight to Liberty City was cancelled due to bad weather. His mother not answering his phone calls as he tries to contact her. Leaving himself in a position to take care of himself, luckily he encounters and meet a local in Los Santos, introducing him into a family. Cesar "Cricket" Costanza, a local of Ganton Blues. Cricket shows Jay the area, allowing him to stay in the apartments. Since that day, Jay has been looking for work non-stop in attempt to grind fo his paper. Jay was working for the city as a Garbage man, until he meet a fellow member of BPS, Tomas "Drowzy" Araujo offered him a job. That job to drive around Idlewood as Drowzy tags up his enemies' graffiti. Paying a starting amount for Jay to live and survive in Los Santos. That day marked a beginning for Jay's life living in Los Santos, getting a tattoo of "LS" on his right cheek. Following suit with the tear drop and "SF" tattoo on his face as well.

A Drug Dealing Career for Jay:

Cricket gives a opportunity of a lifetime for Jay to show off his status quo within the Gang/Faction. Allowing Jay to sell dope in the area, Jay slowly racks up his money, paying attributes to Cricket as well, displaying his loyalty to Cricket and the family. Jay slowly continues to show off to everyone what's he's made up for.

Second Criminal Conviction as an Adult, while being a minor:

Kaydee "Lil Devil" James ends up in Sheriff's Custody after what appears to show Devil beating up Sjoerd Tresebese believed to be the partner of Toby Broakscrup. Jay his cocky self decides to challenge the authority of Law Enforcement, attempting to display Loyalty by helping Devil attempt to Escape Police Custody. This ultimately failed, resulting in Devil being recaptured. Jay continues to taunt at Law Enforcement until Karma decides to bite him back in the ass, resulting in him being tackled, tased, and arrested for Attempted Escape of a Prisoner, Resisting, and Possibly Battery on a LEO. The clip will take you to the end, where Devil and Jay end up getting proceeded at West Vinewood Station, Deputy Joel Brown of SD, challenged, offended by how Jay's "strong word choice" is, he attempts to discipline Jay by giving him a beat down, like how a Father disciplines a child. Something that Jay didn't have in his life. This utterly fails, Jay and Deputy Brown wail on each other until Brown retreats from the cell, reentering the cell with his AP Baton equipped. Jay KOs Brown to the ground. Backup arrives retreating brown from the cell, before the backup deputy rushes Jay, knocking him unconscious with an AP Baton. Being thrown into SADCR. This goes to show that cops may talk all the shit they want, but in the end, you're ego is your most numba one enemy.
