Recruitment for the faction is done in-character, and you will be expected to follow the server rules while associating yourself with our image. Be respectful to those around you and dedicate yourself to your characters development within the faction. The aim of 38th Street is to create a realistic sureño environment in El Corona.

The Discord is accessible for those who are interested in joining the faction, we're currently open to new members and encourage those who are looking for something fresh to try it out, if there are any questions feel free to contact @risen or connect to the Discord, where you can find some information about the faction and ask any questions you may have.

Been around Sureño RP since 07, seen a lot of sets rise and fall. 38st shows up with numbers, I'll give them that, but the RP itself feels like watching a school play where half the cast forgot their lines.

You can see what they're aiming for, but it doesn't really land.

Most of the characters come off the same, if you closed your eyes you wouldnt know who was talking.

It's not even their fault really, most of them just don’t have that background with Mexican-American culture. Kinda expected since a lot are from Europe, where the closest thing to gang life is a soccer riot. Nothing wrong with that, but if you wanna make it believable, put in the homework, watch interviews, read into the history, study how people actually move and talk.

Right now it just looks like a crowd of guys in baggy clothes /leaning on the same corner. That said, everyone starts somewhere. Keep at it and maybe with time it turns into something people actually remember.

Keep it up!
