  2. A mass unban would do more harm than good, those players who are permanently banned have pushed away more players than admins have as a whole. This whole crusade on "staff team bad" is just regurgitated nonsense that has been thrown around every iteration of the staff team the server has ever had. There is no marketing, you're right, we've tried to get people in positions to get the ball rolling but it never amounts to anything. It's not like there is no attempt being made, the issue is people have lives and dedicating so much time into a thankless role where even if you do attempt something new, the community will shit on you either way. People break rules, hack, destroy players experiences on the server, those who are actively online trying to actually provide roleplay to their friends and others who are interested still get slammed with trolls in game. What happens when those trolls are banned? These threads pop up, "admins are destroying the server, mass unban" and the cycle continues. There are systems in place to aid people when joining the server, help people get set up with factions, but the interest just isn't there. If it is there, it's a facade and players who do create these shiny new factions will show their true intentions and start joining in the trolling, deathmatching etc themselves. They are punished, they decide to leave and take their friends with them, and suddenly admins are in the wrong for enforcing the black and white rules that have been in place for years. Out of the 4 pages of comments on this thread, there are about 3 or 4 useful ones that aren't fueled by people living in nostalgia and expecting the golden days back on a game that has simply run its course. I see people mention there are servers running alongside LS-RP that have maintained higher numbers, where? Any reopening of an old server or release of a new server ends the same way, SA:MP doesn't have the playerbase or interest in 2025. Maybe this would spike a little with advertising, and it's something that I've always wanted but it's difficult to get people who can create content or posts that generate traction and make the server look appealing. 80% of content posted on YouTube by the community is DM montages backed up by the use of hacks and their friends talking in the background. Anybody who wants to play a serious text-based roleplay server will be instantly turned away with that. I'll stand by my opinion that hacks have ruined the feel and enjoyment that we used to get out of the game. There are obviously other issues that have played a part, but the mentality and egos of players (staff and community) that feel it's required to cheat their way through RP scenarios have ruined it for myself and many many other players. The way people play video games in general in 2025 is completely different to back when we all first discovered LS-RP and logged in for the first time, there are people who still have that drive to roleplay and create stories out of their characters, but it's few and far between. A lot of the comments on here are just vague statements about potential issues, with no clear solutions mentioned, these comments don't really help anything.
  3. Man this seriously gave me chills running down my spine.
  4. I am standing here because this world is about to end. LS-RP is not just a server to us. It is where our identity lives. Outside of this place, many of us are nothing more than names going through routine, stress, and silence. In here, we had meaning. We had purpose. We mattered. This world gave people a life when real life gave them very little. It gave us a voice when no one listened. It gave us something to believe in when everything else felt empty. If this server ends, it is not just a game shutting down. It is the place where we felt alive disappearing with it. And that is why I am here. Not to rule. Not to control. But to take responsibility when no one else will. This community is powerful. Veterans, new players, rebels, even the ones called trolls. All of them cared enough to be here. All of them kept this world breathing. We were never weak. We were divided. I believe in bringing people back together. In rehabilitation, not exile. In rewarding creativity, not crushing it. In leadership that serves instead of standing above. We do not need millions of players. We need each other. A living community that believes this world is worth saving. Forget the differences. Forget the fights. None of it matters if the server dies. If this world ends, we all lose something we cannot replace. I am stepping forward now because someone has to. This is not just a server. This is our world. And I am willing to fight to keep it alive.
  5. Another serious thread that turns into a shit-fest because of trollers. Why do y'all do this? Just keep shit serious and let's get some answers.
  6. My fellow LSRP brother. I do not understand, not a single staff member is here to partake in the discussion to improve the state of the server, yet it's been absolutely blinking green, yellow and red in the recently browsing for 24 hours now. They're here, they're watching, but...
  7. @badhbh Can you give this thread a look and give members some transparent responses on the state of the server and also constructive feedback on some community ideas within the thread to keep this dead server alive?
  8. Man, we need some talks with you guys. There is no point for us to give critism like this when you're not here to participate and engage. You see the post, and everyone is upset, but still just let us talk with ourselves here? Then LSRP is really beyond saving. What choice do you have? Come on, let's revive this thing. We can do it together, just because you guys are admins doesnt mean you can also partake in this discussion. It's not only about ENFORCING rules...
  9. This isn't the response anyone in this thread wants from staff bro wtf
  10. Doxxing community members will result in a permanent ban. The thread is very close from going off the rails, if you can't keep it constructive and turn to attacking and doxxing community members it'll be locked
  11. + THIS THREAD ALONE. LISTEN TO THE FUCKING COMMUNITY, THE PEOPLE WHO MADE THE SERVER. Last thread? Shut down, because of ''bashing the admins.'' Yes we are fucking bashing you when you do not listen and try to make it good, when you can. If 99% of the server is upset and ''bashing'' the staff, should it not set off some alarm bells that you might be doing something wrong? Or it's wrong with all of us 99% and the 1% is right? Hilarious.
  12. If we can get back to even just 120 players at peak, most members would be content and that goal isn't unattainable. Community involvement on top of admins who are motivated and willing to give this a shot could at least move the needle a little. These staff just need to put the ego to the side and actually give it a shot. I've been preaching closing down PD for a while now and still think we should do it. Find some capable leaders for legal factions to function, restrict unofficial factions from spawning and even just prioritize specific factions for types of roleplay until our numbers grow. (Valenti, EHC, 38th, SD etc, just naming off a few). Fix small bugs, fix bigger bugs... Eventually revise scripts. Change the application system and UCP bugs so we can get new players onto the server. Plan to relaunch Q1 2026 at some point. Community involvement again, I can't emphasize that part enough. You got community members that have been here for 10 plus years, who would be willing to put in the work without having the green tag or be apart of staff.
  13. Do your part, packer. Create a tiktok/instagram/OF/X account and promote LSRP as the beacon of text-based heavy RP.
  14. NOW HIRING: BARTENDERS, SECURITY (LICENSED & UNLICENSED), TRUCKERS, DISPATCHERS, RECRUITERS AND MORE!
  15. The biggest problem with LS-RP today is that there is basically no marketing at all. The server is not growing, there is no real effort to attract new players, and it feels stuck while other servers keep moving forward. On top of that, a lot of the staff act like they are on a pedestal, as if they are above the players. Authority gets abused, egos come first, and instead of supporting the community it often feels like staff versus players. There is very little accountability, and many decisions feel completely out of touch with what actually matters in game. Older players in particular get the short end of the stick. People who have been around for years, in some cases decades, are not valued at all. Instead of being respected for helping build the server, they are treated like they do not matter or like they are easily replaceable. The focus is constantly on the wrong things. Way too much energy goes into control and strict rule enforcement, and not nearly enough into community, retention, marketing, or keeping the server healthy in the long run. Until that changes, LS-RP will continue to lose experienced players and waste its potential. Another thing people often say is that everyone has moved on to GTA V or newer games. That completely misses the point. Nobody is talking about pulling in millions of players. We are talking about a healthy, active player base of maybe 600 to 1000 people. That is nothing. There are genuinely terrible mobile games with more active players than that. The real issue is not that interest is gone, it is that people are not being reached at all. If more people actually knew about LS-RP, or even about text based roleplay in general, the server would grow massively. Most people do not even know this type of roleplay still exists. Honestly, this is the only type of video game I truly enjoy playing and I know I am not alone in that. Almost everyone I have personally introduced to this has ended up playing for years. To this day many of them still say it is the most fun they have ever had in a video game. That says a lot. The product itself is not the problem. The visibility and leadership are.
  16. Theyre not interested. They have priorities: Lawnmower script Funny events like paintball and scuba diving Maybe open up RageMP again despite its failure, then close it down, open SAMP, repeat Delay applications and appeals. #SHUTITDOWN
  17. Now for some honest questions that maybe management @badhbh @bobster or anyone else can answer? 1. Thoughts on temporarily shut down the server? I think this can really get people motivated to again want to come back and gives a chance for staff to breath and rethink an honest strategy? Last time the server closed down and reopened a lot of people rejoined and were motivated to come back. 2. Can we brainstorm ways to advertise the server on socials or on YouTube? Got some motivated community members who are very capable in helping out in doing that. 3. Can we have some better developers to fix the bugs and update the script whilst the server is shut down? More thoughts... Easy to access/apply for new players True to the original script back in the golden days Socially alive inside the forums, discord and outside also Fair and transparent staff instead of incompetent power hungry staff? Maintained by people who care AKA community members having some roles?

  19. HEY BUT YOU KNOW LETS DO THE LAWNMOWER SCRIPT SERVER REALLY NEEDED IT OR THE PAINTBALL EVENT
  20. I looked at those appeals and it's unfortunate, though in his October one he couldn't do as little as follow a format and say 'sorry'. In his november one he was caught ban evading. I'm not sure what you expect badhbh to say as a verdict there. Alas, the staff team here has been the worst I've ever seen since LSRP's relaunch. Terrible management isn't a new thing at all, it's just every time that a faction quits or the server goes into a seasonal stalemate, people start to suddenly have a problem about it. I.E. Barons MC loved to reap the boons of trksthtmn being their pocket admin - closing down rival factions at whim given they were fresh enough, this same band of people was later whining in my DMs about how unjust LSRP's management is. I hope this particular example paints a picture of how hypocritical this community is. You're overreacting, and jumping on a bandwagon in dire strait to look like you have an opinion. I'm not even gonna address your other ChatGPT-generated response.
  21. Mass unban is the only play left that actually saves LS-RP from the dirt nap it's heading for. Look at this thread—more activity, more back-and-forth, more actual fun happening right here than on the goddamn server itself. People are literally having a better time shit-talking the corpse than logging into 10-player emptiness, and I can't blame 'em one bit. Streets are dead, but this forum's popping off with real energy. That's your wake-up call. Yeah some clowns might troll again. /ban takes 2 secs, admins are everywhere. Risk? Zero. Reward? Everything. Beats wasting cash on devs nobody logs in for. Do it or die slower. Server's a total diarrhea show on top of it. Sign-up page still lists mmartin as "head developer" like nothing's changed, and you can't even register with a Gmail because the site's that broken. They closed down the old forums for this crap too, like I swear, LSRP staff its like a competition who can make the worst decision for the server at this point. Lmfao. Watch them remove the thread too.
  22. Half year for someone trolling? Add another six months for someone ban evading? Is that realistic to you? And badhbh and other admins dont reply for MONTHS on their appeal, just check their appeals now, poor guy been waiting since October for even a reply. Is it even weird if people start evading then?
