OOC Information The Gashi Clan is a roleplay project aiming to portray the Albanian Mafia in a realistic and immersive way. We focus on cultural authenticity, character development, and long-term storytelling rather than quick power gains or shootouts. Our main OOC goals: - To create an environment for high-quality, organized crime roleplay based on Albanian traditions and culture. - To emphasize character-driven progression, meaning your status and opportunities depend on your IC actions, not OOC favoritism. - To build an immersive story that ties into the history of the Albanian diaspora in the U.S. and the conflicts of the Balkans. Once you post in the thread you give CK rights to the leader. For any OOC inquiries, reach out to faction leadership ( @peculaa ) via forum PMs.

Origins in Albania The Gashi family name originates from the highlands of Northern Albania, where clan structures dictated life for centuries. The Gashis, like many mountain families, lived under the code of Besa, an oath of loyalty, silence, and vengeance that held more weight than law. After World War II, Albania fell under Enver Hoxha’s communist regime, forcing many families underground. The Gashis, unwilling to bow to the regime, fled the Balkans and made their way to the United States. Their arrival marked the beginning of a new chapter in the family’s criminal trajectory. The Liberty City Years By the late 1950s and early 1960s, the Gashi family had established a foothold in Liberty City. Initially, their presence was small and rooted in immigrant neighborhoods, but their willingness to do the dirty work that others refused quickly elevated them in the underworld. Over the decades, the Gashis involved themselves in Loan Sharking & Extortion, Assassinations & Contract Killings, Trafficking Operations. The Gashis were not just another street crew, they became a diaspora clan, a network of cousins and brothers stretching from Liberty City to Vice City, and even back to Europe. The Balkan Connection When the Kosovo-Serb war erupted in the late 1990s, the Gashi Clan funneled weapons, money, and men back to their homeland. While their motives were political on the surface, it also solidified their reputation as nationalists and protectors of Albanian identity. Many family members earned their reputations in that conflict, carrying wartime brutality back with them to the United States. The Los Santos Chapter Among the many sons of the Gashi bloodline is Artan Gashi, now in his early fifties. Unlike some of his brothers who remained in Liberty City, Artan was looking for new territory and opportunity. With Los Santos being a hotbed for both organized crime and immigrant networks, he arrived with a simple but potent plan, establish a loan sharking operation to lock struggling businesses into dependence, expand into racketeering and extortion, leveraging the clan’s feared name, and create footholds in arms and narcotics trafficking through existing Balkan connections. Though Artan is not the sole heir of the Gashi name, he represents the clan’s continued expansion, a living reminder that the family never operates as scattered individuals but as one extended, tightly-bound brotherhood.

Our faction's main objective is to depict an authentic one-percenter motorcycle club, with a strong focus on individual character growth and fostering rich, immersive lore. We expect our members to maintain a high standard of roleplay and to familiarize themselves with the one-percenter culture before joining. If reliable resources are difficult to find, we’re more than happy to assist with character creation and provide materials to help players accurately portray a motorcycle club member. We recognize that real-life responsibilities such as work and family always take precedence over roleplay. While some may not fully grasp this, rest assured that joining our faction does not require you to be active every night of the week. Once you enter the prospecting phase, we reserve the right to issue a character kill if there is valid justification. However, this is always considered a last resort rather than a first option. For any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to @Phoenix999 via the forums or in Discord.

Yeah, I feel you — everything does feel kind of copy-paste these days. A lot of spots just open up as another bar or lounge because it’s the “safe” business idea, but it kills the uniqueness. I’d love to see more variety too, like the old fight gyms, a waterpark vibe, or even arcades and comedy clubs.
