The South Los 13 (SXL 13) presently known as the "Sox Los" is a long-standing and active Mexican-American street gang formed in the 1970's in Los Santos, San Andreas. This gang is believed to have ties with the Mexican mafia (eMe) and other criminal organizations like " Los Zetas" . Despite them being Surenos and being loyal to the Mexican Mafia, they tend to have clash and war with other Varrios that fall under the "13". Varrios like, Florencia 13, Barrio Mojados (BMS), 18st Gang and the 38st Gang are some of the gangs that have clashes with South Los 13. Present day, the gang's younger generation is a more ruthless and nasty group. They've been at war with the Florencia street gang, and a slew of other rivals for years, due to politics and longstanding feuds that predate many of today's youth. Their rivals aren't the only ones they face; on a daily basis, the South Los housing developments are being targeted due to gentrification. Furthermore, many long-term residents of the region have been relocated or lost their homes as a result of the city's regeneration. Los Santos' future is considered to be haunted by its history in 107th st, a neighborhood in East Los Santos.
