  1. The gist of this thread: Players complain about the state of the server and offer suggestions to improve it. Management/staff refuses to listen for months. Once the player count dwindles, staff frantically asks for suggestions. They're told it's too late - not everything can be salvaged, specially not this late - which is met with the standard "don't be negative" response. Meanwhile, some admin(s) who recently reinstated or promoted, will post that everything's fine and try downplaying everything every now and again, so that they can try to score a promotion. It's a tale as old as time. Maybe slap an image of a new map on top of this (which may or may not be the final map btw) and that'll save LSRP.
  2. Wonderfully written with actual, real experiences. You're a real nigga for this one 🗣️💯 Thank you! Azuka won't dare reply to this one!
  3. Armando, people like you are/were the actual problem on LS:RP. You harp on and on about how someone else was unfair to you, all the while you were doing the same to others. It only became a problem when you and your friends were on the receiving end. On top of that, you lie... a lot. You have been proven to be a liar, numerous times, in the last 3 pages. You say one thing - I prove the other, with screenshots. I never begged for rank. I was told, by the sheriff, to apply for the operations sergeant position because you and your friends are incompetent - so much so that your incompetence will never again be topped. I never threw a fit. I attended 1 last training, heard your friends — who can't lead and routinely get their teams wiped out on the main server — try to tell others how to lead, and realized just how inept your friends are, so I sent unlawful a PM and told him I was leaving. Also, if I had "an aggressive mindset" and "an inability to have a dialogue," you'd think I would've called your inept friends out for their failures (of which there were many), no? Instead, regardless of how truly idiotic you and your friends' tactics appeared to be, I tried to guide them in the right direction diplomatically. Please do provide proof of these accusations. After all, I've posted proof of your hypocrisy. Again, don't even start with Iudex. You are the one who was rimming him every chance you got - whether it was in the faction chat, supervisory channels or TeamSpeak. You spared no one from your tongue - not even Brasi or Romiro. I am not your friend. I was never your friend. I never thought highly of you. You are gullible and spineless, and have proven that over multiple iterations of LS:RP. You will cozy up to any and everyone who can potentially benefit you. You stand for nothing. You have no morals. Since you seem to be having a hard time with comprehension, let me help you: I don't care about Iudex. No, he should've never been the sheriff. His leadership has been "tried and tested" before, and the faction needed a new face to lead it instead of having the same few people rotate through the leadership positions. But, you can't deny that he did more in a week than you and your cronies did in 3 years. Keep crying about Storm too, and try to convince yourself that your friend matt deserved a promotion for doing nothing. You post an entire manifesto crying for your friend, but can't seem to justify why he deserved a promotion and instead try to do mental gymnastics with a "he proved himself to me and that's enough!" argument. I'm just happy you were served a taste of your own medicine. Also, a single guy against around six of you, and he still managed to outwit all of you? You know, maybe that's just proof that you guys aren't/weren't smart enough to lead the faction. Not going to reply to you anymore, chowder. You've proven that you're not able to have a dialogue without becoming accusatory or disrespectful. Make sure you check for Iudex under your bed before you go to sleep 😂
  4. You're proving my point of being completely aloof, useless and inactive. Here's your friend telling me your "hold" was removed, but lie some more about how I resigned to skip punishment. (Also, let me point out that I have no problem with unlawfulact. He's a decent guy who could've done great things with SEB if only he had the courage to remove inept people like you.) I don't have a personal problem with you, matt. You're quite frankly comparable to a background character. But it's the fact that your friends prop you up to positions you have no business being in that creates a problem. Azuko proved this too. He wrote a whole manifesto about how you should've been promoted, but couldn't, in multiple replies, give reasons for it. And yes, you managed to create great records at SEB. You and your team leaders managed to get the team wiped more times in a week than it had ever been since Bear and co. made SEB. The only person who tried to stand up against the piss poor track record of your leadership (Duckling) resigned really quickly after seeing you guys' incompetence. Anytime he tried to bring up a valid point, he was quickly shut down because Mikey! Mikey hasn't been in SASD for over a year, yet you guys never failed to drag his name in anytime someone pointed out that you got your guys killed. "Yeah, we got everyone killed but this isn't Mikey era. We're not toxic, guys! We don't want to be toxic like Mikey! So what if this is the tenth time I got my team killed?!" Your whole "competent leadership" was based around being anti-Mikey. My mind is still boggled by how you guys can continue to look at SEB and say it's completely fine. You can almost never field a team to respond to callouts. And when you do, you almost always get wiped out. A tactical team, which is supposed to be the last shield of defense, getting wiped out in every other callout. Make that make sense to me! Also, if ES had deemed you capable, you would've been a Commander by now. But, instead, you were served with a demotion... to Lieutenant. Enjoy! Oh, and what happened when you tried to transfer to LSPD Metro? The great "savior of SEB" couldn't even manage to land a regular position in LSPD SWAT? Shocking!! They just don't see your greatness, bro — only your friends do!! P.S. To LFM, giving any of these guys leadership of SASD is a silly thing to do. At this point, just shut down the faction and merge it with LSPD.
  5. Understandable. I don't suppose you would want to hear the opinions of hypocrites who cannot bear hearing that (gasp!) they are not faultless. Liars, too, at that! Because here's faction leader (as a Sergeant) Azuko in one of his everyday faction leader discussions with Iudex and his friend — whom he apparently hates so much now that Iudex is no longer around. No longer going to respond to this guy!
  6. Read the promotion section where his promotion was uploaded- Oh wait you can't :joy: And I call it SASD because that's what you and your cronies made the faction — a shell of its former self.
  7. I posted statistics from a publicly accessible forum because it is publicly accessible. I thought this would be obvious, but I guess not. Do you propose giving everyone access to the admin panel to see the hidden sections instead? I got banned by Iudex from the SASD forums. I don't care about him. I'm just pointing out your hypocrisy. The only person with Iudex' shit on their nose is you — sit in his TeamSpeak channel and speak highly of him 24/7, but just as long as he has the power to promote you! You had the ability to defend your position by listing out what exactly your friend deserved to be promoted for, but you didn't do it. Must be because you don't have an answer for why he should be promoted except that because he was your friend. Also what's up with calling my comment masturbatory? I was just agreeing with your stance that the faction's standards (which includes its roleplay standards) had lowered significantly. Even if it hadn't, I think I do deserve to call myself a better role-player than you, after seeing your version of good police role-play.
  8. Damn why is my post hidden? Here's a pastebin link I guess since you love pastebins (in response to Mr. Azuko's post) https://pastebin.com/LdxBzaNk
  9. As one of the better role-players who was in LSSD for a short while after it relaunched, I'll put this plainly — everything written a few posts above (in the pastebin link) is a crock of shit. "Iudex has a reputation of being a snake, and I don't describe it that way in an attempt to sleight him - that's genuinely how some people view him, due to past experiences." — this comes from the mouth of someone who was in Iudex' TeamSpeak channel 24/7. Why did this realization about Iudex come to you only after he is no longer in a position of power above you? Gee, you'd think you'd realize that way sooner especially if he'd already gotten you banned in 2020. Here's a list of TB members with their number of posts in the temporary application archive (the only publicly accessible forum): Autumn Kennedy: 16 posts Paul Xue: 12 posts Alexander Bond: 12 posts Ronaldo Dalisay: 10 posts Daniel Cano: 10 posts Jabari Harris: 7 posts Clearly, Storm (Paul Xue) is the second "most active" member in TB. If you want to get into a bit of statistics, based on the above data, the average is 11.167 posts and median is 11 posts. He has 12 posts — above the mean and median. So, how or why exactly are you questioning the activity of the second most active TB member? You didn't want the second most active member to get promoted, but you wanted matt — who's known to most everyone in SASD to be one of the most inactive members in the faction, and known to fake his activity by idling at SEB HQ on admin duty (you have a lot of experience with this from back in 2020, don't you?) — to be promoted? What, exactly, has he done for the faction? He was in the SEB operations team since relaunch and showed up to possibly only a single training, at most. He was promoted to East LS Captain, and the only thing he did for the station was set up a thread in the screenshots section. Oh, and who is the only person to post on that thread? Yep, you guessed it - Storm! The only change made to the East LS station after he took over was the introduction of a station GET/COPS team, but that too was the result of the faction leadership redesigning OSS' operations (and it took 2 whole weeks to do that...). The only reason this guy even reached the position he was in, despite being incredibly inactive, is simply because there was no one left in the faction after LS:RP switched to GTA 5. I was involved in a total of 3 SWAT callouts with him and he never, ever role-played in any of them. In the one callout that he led, it was entirely carried out on TeamSpeak. And I say "led" loosely — he just teleported half of the team to the rear of Jefferson Motel, without ever communicating anything (let alone a plan), and started "clearing the building." A second team leader and I took the initiative and made entry from the front to help them, or else the team would've been wiped out AGAIN, for the tenth time that day. I don't want to start with SEB and the abysmal state it is in, but you guys managed to get the team wiped out more in a week than it had ever been in its nearly decade-long existence. So, please, tell me why you think someone as incompetent deserved to be promoted over Storm, who demonstrably has a better track record? Here's even a member of ES (and his then direct supervisor) admitting your friend's inactivity, but go on and promote him already, he's done a whole lot of nothing!! You talk a lot of smack about Iudex and his friends, but that never stopped you from being in their TeamSpeak channel 24/7, rimming them for your next e-promotion. Also, Iudex did more in a week than you and your friends in more than 3 years. What exactly did you or your friends really contribute to the faction except general in-game activity (and even that is debatable for some of you). If you really want to talk about who ruined SASD, let's review the track record of the sheriffs before Iudex. 2 people (Jack and Brasi) led the faction jointly for over 3 years, and they did their damn best to run the faction to the ground. While Jack was never, ever around and let Brasi be the de facto sheriff, he is complicit in the way the faction turned out because of his inactivity and deserves blame for it. As soon as Brasi got sheriff, his shtick of being inactive and telling people "I'll keep you updated" started. The faction was in such disarray that something as simple as suggestions to limit the wait-time for responding to applications took 2 months (and it was only after Iudex "forced his way in" that the suggestion was accepted and a department directive was released). Do I really need to say more about the state that the faction was in, if it took 2 months for a simple directive saying "don't make people wait more than 72 hours for a response to their application" to be passed? Brasi was completely aloof the entire time — you'd tell/ask him about something and, more often than not, his response to it would be "yeah, what the hell? I didn't know that," "oh, I forgot about that," or something along those lines. If faction issues ever popped up, he was nowhere to be found to address them. On top of that, he never established a good leadership team to act in his absence either. You cry about Iudex being placed in as his undersheriff, while failing to realize the fact that Iudex needed to be put in that position because no one was leading the faction even though the faction had a leader. Most good and competent role-players left after getting a hint of Brasi's leadership (or lack thereof) style. But, you never complained about this even though you were in a position to. I suppose the promotions Brasi was feeding you kept your belly full, up until Iudex brought a stop to it. I'm also laughing incredibly hard at the fact that you're complaining about "the injustice" done to your friend, when he did the same to others. What goes around really does come around! The only thing I agree with you is the fact that LFM has failed miserably and that Justitiae was dealt a bad card. He should've been promoted. He's a sound guy and puts in decent quality work. LFM has been the most useless entity on LS:RP since forever, and it was no different in this iteration of LS:RP. They've been promoting one guy after the other to the head of LFM and passing the buck when all they needed was someone to lay down the hammer and start taking action. Not a single thing done by LFM has made sense. It seems like they just do whatever without a single thought behind their action(s).
  10. Most of this topic seems to revolve around illegal factions, and how they were handled by server staff, so I feel I have to chime in too — as someone who has primarily role-played around law enforcement for nearly a decade. LFM has always been doo-doo under all the different leaderships on LS:RP, and it was no different this time around. Being extremely anal about stupid things like drivebying (which no one seems to even care about anymore. I wonder why?) while failing to address the larger issue of poor role-play standards, leadership and their activity (or lack thereof), and general incompetency. Poor leadership from faction leaders, coupled with LFM's inability to intervene, drove a lot of good legal role-players away: some left immediately, and others left eventually after realizing LFM, as it always has been, is incompetent and will not intervene. The only ones left now are those who "persevered through" a/k/a sat there until everyone competent left and they were the only ones left to be promoted. I don't want to be a "back in my days" type of guy, but most of these guys were/would be hard stuck as a P2/Generalist in PD/SD "back in my days," but have managed to find their way to the upper echelons of leadership simply because there's no one else. This was an okay-ish strategy on Rage to retain the little players it had, but it was terrible for the return of SAMP because they drove away a lot of the returning (and often more competent) players. These low standards have also trickled down to the rank and file, making role-play with law enforcement generally an incredibly frustrating experience. You can't stay in-game for 10 minutes without some bastard with his wall hacks pulling you over for the umpteenth time and screaming "Pennsylvania vs. Mimms" to pull you out of the car and initiate a gunfight. I don't even wanna go into the optics of "parole agents" conducting traffic stops, engaging in pursuits, and drivebying from their cars. I guess LS:RP finally got its third law enforcement faction, not in the form of SAHP or FBI, but SADCR, in some weird way. I'm personally not of the opinion that the server can be saved anymore. The server's been up for more than 6 months now (?) and it could've definitely been helped when the first two or three warning signs popped up. But when you ignore the blaring sign for the tenth time and just hope everything fixes itself, you've reached the point of no return. This is specially the case for LS:RP, which has a history of ignorantly repeating this cycle. All that said, LSPD does seem to be in a better place than it has ever been, at least in terms of its management. As for other factions, they have never been worse.
  11. Excellent reading comprehension. (Not really!) You're right in that you could get shot if you tried pressing someone in the hood in real life. I never said otherwise. Your friend wants the admins to create a list of instances where a shooting would be justified. If a list like that were to be created, there is no way looking at someone the wrong way - which he wants to do - would be included in it. Instead of having a list, admins can evaluate situations on a case by case basis, which is exactly how it's done now. So what exactly did you or your friend achieve by rambling on and on about how you want to shoot someone for looking at you wrong because you're a mobster but you also want the admins to clamp down harder on DMers?
  12. Bro what are you actually rambling about? You want staff to make a definite list of instances where a shooting would be OK, and then go on to ramble on and on about how you want to shoot someone for looking at you the wrong way because you're a mobster. You should realize that if a list were ever to be made, there is no way looking at a mobster the wrong way would ever be included in it.
  13. This aint the Fort I proudly served for years. Where's the activity? Step it up guys. East LA, SECOND TO NONE
