Alessio was born and raised in Liberty City to an Italian family from the Apulia region. His father had left early, so it was his mother, Claudia, who raised him alone. So from the time he could walk, he learned to rely on himself. Liberty City taught him to hustle, like fixing scooters and old electronics, so he could earn some money in his younger days. But growing up, he quickly realised that it will not be enough.

 

In the early years of his twenties, he started working as a bartender in the Saint Mark’s district, thus discovering little by little, the shaded side of his neighborhood. Quickly, some clients with whom he sympathizes ask him for services against reward, like moving and hiding vehicles for others or the transport of parcels ‘‘which should not be talked about’’. Alessio was good at it, and stood out thanks to his driving skills and his dedication.

 

Between his job as a bartender and the services he was asked to provide, Alessio had enough to make a good living. But every penny, all of it, went straight into taking care of his mother. Her health had been declining for years, and the medical bills kept piling up. He had to take care of everything on his own, so he continued to move forward. He worked hard, paid the bills, hoped that everything would work out, but one day, hope wasn’t enough. Claudia passed away, leaving behind a son torn, having given everything for his mother without it being enough.

 

Devastated by this recent event, Alessio decided to pack what he had left and to start over. With his last savings, he bought a plane ticket and a few months of accommodation in Los Santos, ready to start over from nothing.
