This thread will follow the development of Amy Morne and Avery Rhodes.

They’re both concept characters we’ve been experimenting with and exploring their development.

Amy Morne, a retired mystery novelist once celebrated for her bestselling books, now lives with amnesia.

Each day she relies on her notes to navigate life, often retelling the same stories or greeting familiar

faces as if for the first time. She sometimes manifests a woman she calls her sister, Emily, a

person no one else has met. Amy is easily influenced by those around her, and her memory

worsens under stress or when her identity is questioned. When her fragile

sense of reality is challenged, her temper can quickly surface.

Avery Rhodes is Amy’s devoted sister and closest companion, living with her and helping her navigate each day.

Calm and steady, she manages their shared life, including working alongside Amy at the local bar,

and often guides her sister through moments of confusion. Avery is patient and caring, but can grow

frustrated when Amy’s memory lapses or when she repeats the same stories for the hundredth time.

She is easily protective of Amy and often mediates between her and the outside world,

quietly holding the pieces of their shared life together.
