Grew up in a working-class home in Austin, Texas, where he learned the art of fixing engines in his father’s garage. By his twenties, he was a full-time mechanic and part-time trucker, with one foot in the shop and the other in the fast-paced world of street racing. He fell in with a small-time crew running bikes, cars, and muscle in the neighborhood—racing, fighting, and earning respect the hard way. After a messy breakup with his wife and years of personal wreckage, Duke left Texas behind, landing in Los Santos with nothing but his tools and a bottle in the glovebox. Now he's building something new: Barlowe Automotive Corp., with its first business, Barlowe’s Custom & Repairs—a gritty, no-frills shop known for custom motorcycles, tuned-up rides, and no-BS service. Duke’s still rough around the edges, drinks too much, and doesn’t trust easy—but he’s trying to make it work. One rebuild at a time.
