Dirty Eddie

I punched the clock at seven, like I always do,
Mark Lim’s in the corner, got that smug attitude.
We been rivals since forever, fightin’ for the prize,
But I never thought he’d stoop so low—man, I can’t believe my eyes.

My baby’s gone, my sunshine ride,
Golden paint like whiskey, engine hums with pride.
But Mark done took her, locked her up so tight,
And if he lays a scratch on her, he won’t see the morning light.

Give me back my car, Mark Lim, don’t make me cross that line,
We can scrap at work all day, but my wheels ain’t yours to hide.
This ain’t about the job, man, this ain’t about the fight,
It’s about a man and his machine—so don’t test my pride tonight.

That garage door is bolted, only he’s got the key,
But metal doors won’t stop me, boy, don’t mess with Ol Eddy
I poured my soul in that engine, polished every chrome,
If I hear one dent or scratch, I swear I’ll break your bones.

We got history, we got battles, but some lines can’t be crossed,
Stealin’ rides and playin’ dirty, now you’re gonna pay the cost.
I ain’t one for murder, but let me make it clear,
If that car don’t roll out perfect, you’ll just disappear.
