Using the money he had earned from years of hard work and side businesses back in Serbia, he applied for a business visa under the pretense of expanding into import and export. With his paperwork in order, he legally made his way to the United States. He chose Los Santos, a city he believed was full of opportunity for ambitious men like him—where wealth, connections, and influence were within reach for those willing to chase them.

He began exploring small but legal trades, importing Balkan goods and building connections within immigrant communities.
