The infamous Santa Maria 13 gang also known as the 20th street Pequeno Locos, these past days have been conspiring to get rid of their most deadly rivals documented, the Culver City Boys, which is also a gang based off in the western side of LS. After the death of the young, 23 year old, Jacob Ruiz back in 2023, numerous protests arising throughout the streets of LS. It is a known fact that the rival gang, Culver City Boys, had carried out the hit on Jacob Ruiz a late night in the afternoon a couple years ago.

The federal authorities announced on Monday, that a grand jury of the state had indicted 4 people affiliated with the Santa Maria 13 had carried out numerous retaliation attacks on their rivals, prosecutors described this as a "night of terror" against the whole Hispanic community. A lot of these young men have no one to look up to, they've been learning no other way except the street way, the news reporter says, "They're people filled with nothing else except pure hatred against their own community.", we have these past days been talking to a young 16 year old, allegedly from the gang, we have chose to blur his name for numerous reasons. He says, "I had no father figure growing up, I gang bang to feel like a man, and I do it with pride till the day I die." It's truly shocking.

The Chief of the Los Santos Police Department said the gang scrawled abusive epithets on other Hispanics in the community, known to be their rivals, he added that just a couple weeks ago, the Pequeno Locos targeted young teenagers from Verona walking home, they saw easy targets, began chasing them and attacked them carelessly. It's devastating, an old couple says that have been living in the area for more than 3 decades.

A campaign launched by the government against the Latino gangs has been a thing for a long while, with little to no reports of success. A report that was published by the federal authorities state that, these gangs have been influenced by the infamous prison gang, The Mexican Mafia also known as the La Eme, which is one of the oldest and one of the most powerful prison gangs in the United States.

The Santa Maria 13 gang has had close ties to the Mexican Mafia these past couple years, they have been under heavy influence by the prison gang.
