Lieutenant Roscoe Pritchard, is in his late twenties, grew up in Chicago and spent time in Illinois, the South, and Miami. From a family of service members and progressives, he was raised with a competitive drive and high expectations that later took a toll on him.

At 17, he enlisted in the Navy and aspired to become a Surface Warfare Officer, but after a senior officer warned against it, Roscoe pursued Civil Engineering at the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. Simultaneously, he completed Navy SEAL training and deployed to Afghanistan in 2015. A mission there left his best friend disabled, a burden Roscoe still carries. During a later mission in 2018, a back injury led him to reevaluate his path after seeing the toll war had taken on others.

Using the GI Bill, Roscoe earned his commission and was stationed in Pensacola. Despite pressure to become a Surface Warfare Officer, he requested a transfer, landing at San Fierro Naval Base with the Naval Security Forces. In early 2025, as a result of the new administration's downsizing of the Navy, he finally transferred to Port Hueneme, CA, joining Seabee Battalion NMCB-3. He now leads Delta Platoon with his second-in-command, Chief Petty Officer Marcus “Bear” Jefferson, embracing his hands-on role and engineering focus.

To fund his "hobby" Roscoe also works as Deputy Head of Security at the Port of East Beach in the private sector, balancing his dual responsibilities with grit and determination.
