The Ghetto Boyz 13 rivalry with the Primera Flats has been harmful to both sides and their neighborhoods, with both being around the same area, they both proclaimed the park which resulted in a war over it, this led to tragic events like April 2002, where an 8-year-old boy was playing at the park and was shot in the chest during a crossfire between the two gangs, causing him to lose his life. This made the area hot and caused a lot of unwanted attention between the two street gangs.
