I've recently came across this issue and it's been troubling me for some time, where I'm unable to record footage due to it either being a blackscreen, or a pause screen the entire video.

This means that my footage is just completely lost, anyone came across this before? please lmk

Might be something related to Nvidia drivers, try updating them or reinstalling Nvidia GeForce app. And yes, your old recordings unfortunately might be gone.

If further help is needed submit it at the player-support section on the forums so further assistance can be sent accordingly

Thanks, my drivers are seemingly up-to-date, I'll check again though..

On top of this, I've tried resetting the folder where they are stored in shadowplay but alas, I'm getting black screens etc in the recordings
