Driving roleplay guide

Introduction: This is by far the most stupid roleplay you're reading, I'm posting it because most of us need a reminder. I know most of us won't even use a /me line when we are driving but that doesn't mean we can do ANYTHING while we're driving, so you could maybe leave 5 minuets of your time and read this guide.

Fear RP in Driving: Yes as long as we're in a roleplay server you should roleplay fear properly and driving is one of the scariest thing one can do you ask how? let's see:
Okay so basically your character is not Dead Pool or some immortal guy and lives only and only once, I know it's a game, you die and you respawn but you gotta act realistic. Once you're sitting in a friend's car as passenger you must roleplay fear if they drive fast/recklessly it's actually scary for most of the people, then now some random guy will show up and say "My Character is a car guy he isn't scared of any of those!" but you're wrong, that basically depends on the level of trust your character has towards a driver meaning if you're sitting in a random idiot's Glendale and they are doing Arabic drifts in east beach you should fear your life because you can't certainly tell if they're gonna get you out of the car alive if it goes wrong. If you trying to do shitty moves and not end up with your character shit his pants, you can basically roleplay having roll cage in your car, a five point harness and safety features that'd give your character the confidence to do such stuff.

Offroading: Gosh I wanna kill myself seeing a god damn manana on top of Mount Chiliad, guys it's still considered NRP driving, why? basically cars have something called an oil pan if you're familiar with cars you know what I'm talking about, cars such as Sedans/Hatchbacks/Station wagons/Limousines/Sports cars/Hyper cars and etc IK they are fast enough to take you up there but they are closer to the ground comparing to an SUV or a Crossover, so you'd most likely  end up either stuck somewhere or left with a broken oil pan and a dead engine and fyi repair costs are killing people and fear of repair costs should just keep you from doing it. I suggest you to not take your cute little Civic offroading if you do atleast roleplay it properly.

Car Damages: Same way you should fear your character's life, you should fear your car's life aswell because you already know that repairing costs are high af ICly and no you don't fix a crushed Ferrari with 500 bucks in ur hometown PNS it costs a fortune. Drifting/Speeding/Reckless driving/Heavy Offroading/Stunts and things like that are for cars with right modifications installed on them not a daily car, you hold S and W and you think you're tough, well let me tell you that if you do a burnout irl you're killing your car's differential and gearbox for just showing off to a random guy in Idlewood. Try driving properly as much as possible, if you still wanna drive like a lunatic PLEASE atleast roleplay having a modified car for it and not something so random.

Fear RP for pedestrians: Again you're not immortal, PLEASE don't jump in the middle of the street to meet a friend it's pretty dangerous if you do IRL and you can easily get killed even with a low speed collision. Loud noises like someone stepping on the brake pedal hardly making the car slide, someone drifting on an intersection, a speeding lunatic or even back fires appear scary for some citizens or atleast it makes them flinch so please be careful and roleplay better.

Show some love: Yes! show some love to those IC car enthusiasts instead of calling them mallrats and stuff like that, IK how it is OOC u dont like their rp concept but hey who'd hate to see a low rider Impala with truck load of unique parts installed on it? or How could someone just walk past a fucking Ferrari/Lambo and act like it's just a regular fucking sedan? Come on guys time to drop that attitude, IK it's hard but try your best.

Take a walk: Yes take a walk after some times, like rp that your car's in the repairshop for it's services and it's just not available or as if your NPC wife took it, or it's just at home you're saving gas, crashed and needs a repair, stuff like that makes your roleplay more beautiful.

Try roleplaying accidents as much as you guys can: Eh tbh it's one thing that everyone tries to avoid, but it actually gives FD/PD some new things to do rather than handling shootouts 24/7, and please don't end up robbing the other guy ik you're a fucking thomas shelby or some god damn gangster but you're not an animal to murder/rob someone without a reason, it's 2024 you can pull tricks on the guy and give him headache "Yeah it's your fault" and shit but don't pull out a ak47 for some fender bender and instead just call the cops! (You ain't a rat for calling the cops on a traffic accident, because you simply wanna get your car fixed) or if you really have something on you roleplay driving off but keep the damages in mind aswell. For example a slow head on head collision would break fenders, headlights, bumpers and pretty much the whole face of your 2024 car because they are simply made of plastic while it's otherwise for older cars but either way you roleplay it wisely and instead of /me drives off. do /me twists the key starting the engine /do Engine starts after a little suffer /me backs out with his half ruined car and drives off.

I hope this Guide didn't give you headache, I know most of us know ALL of these useless words but consider this a reminder to what you usually do in LSRP, it doesn't matter if anyone sees or not you can always roleplay driving, if you cba using all those /me lines just simply avoid doing ridiculous stunts alright? Have a good one!

W read

I'd love to see people take a more realistic approach on traffic laws (traffic lights, maintaining lanes) while driving aswell as have PD personel enforce them more strictly, because the traffic part of the server seems to be in shambles currently.
