Heroin, prostitution and finally recieving his payment from the jewelry heist set up by Richie Parella has made Sandy quite wealthy just in the past few weeks. This ability to make money effectively has brought him further into the underworld, particularly into a crew operating in Willowfield and Santa Maria Beach. He was officially "on record" now, which meant he was protected. It was now up to Sandy if he would let this go to his head or continue to keep his cool, and earn money quietly...

After the successful heist pulled by Richie Parella and 'Sonny' Sorbello, Sandy was interested to get involved in another. This time he would introduce his man 'Big Arnie' Gionna. It comes with the territory... As Sandy established himself more in Ganton and Willowfield, more people wanted to do business. That included the Heroin dealing. Arnie would be useful there, too, but it took some convincing on Sandy's part to get him to agree to start dealing the 'nasty'.
