How do you approach developing a backstory for your characters in LS-RP?

Hello

 

I am excited  to hear how everyone  developing backstories for their characters in LS-RP.  As I start with the basics like name, age, occupation ; and general personality traits to get a foundational understanding of who my character is.

I explore  their personal history, considering their birthplace, family background, and any significant events in their past that have shaped them. After that I think about their motivations and goals; which helps guide their actions and decisions within the game. 

Relationships are also important  ; so I consider their past and potential future connections with family, friends, and enemies. Finally, I integrate my character into the LS-RP world by thinking about how they fit into the current server dynamics and what factions or groups they might be involved with.
