SONS OF SAMOA

Sons of Samoa, are a tight-knit, group of Polynesian individuals
whom occupy the Ganton areas. They've taken control of Grove
Street and are slowly growing in power. They have a very structured
lineage reminiscent to their cultural background as tribes. The Samoans
have adopted 'Crip' common behavior and they've since been seen
wearing 'Crip' affiliated colors and using language we've noted in
other Crip affiliated gang sets. Although smaller in numbers than
other gangs we've seen in the area, they continue to grow in size.
Their main source of income is street-level distribution of powdered
cocaine, crack cocaine, marijuana and methamphetamine. The gang
is also involved in various illegal activities including assault, auto theft,
burglary, carjacking, drive-by shooting, robbery and homicide.

On December 8th, 2019 - Tolani Apatu and Iosefa Ausage, the original founding

fathers of the Sons of Samoa Crip gang in Los Santos have murdered a rival gang member

in El Corona at around 1:30AM, the victim was 16 year old Carlos Morales; Police say that

he was affiliated with the infamous Mara Salvatrucha 13 gang. A witness stepped forward

and addressed that the duo were dressed in all black, hooded up with black rags over

their faces. They then proceeded walked up to the rival member and shot him in the head

at point blank range, shortly letting a barrage of bullets into his lifeless body. The duo

then got into a 2005 Toyota Camry and sped off into the night. After further investigation,

detectives and police say there was a shooting six hours earlier involving Carlos Morales

in a drive-by shooting which was botched. The duo did it in retaliation.

Since forming in 2019, we've noted that the gang has four main key individuals
that are in control of what happens in Ganton, those people being
Manu Tufele, Tuiloma Lofipo, Ula Tupua and Iosefa Tuala (In order of power) who are
all linked to crimes associated with the Sons of Samoa gang. We've attached
below, the most recent mugshots we could find of the individuals listed above.
Their crimes are listed, and range from assault and battery charges to
firearm charges. It is suggested these individuals DO NOT be approached alone as
they are very dangerous and opportunistic.

This document must be protected and not released to unauthorized individuals. It is to be used by persons in your
agency who have a “need to know” the sensitive information contained in this document in order to perform an
identifiable and authorized government function. It may not be released beyond your agency without the permission of
NDIC. It must be stored in a limited access area or in a locked container during nonduty hours. It must be destroyed
by shredding or burning.

Today the Sons of Samoa aren't as tied as they used

to be, back in April 2020, Tuiloma Lofipo, and Manu Tufele

faced Rico charges, linking them to various count of

murder, racketeering, and drug distribution. Many other

members were charged with these counts as well.

With the main members now off the streets, the

gang divided into a civil war as a power struggle ensured.

Members of Sons of Samoa, began stealing from one

another, shooting at each other, and even getting as

personal as stabbing one another.

This became the gangs downfall, the sudden change in

ways of living caused a drastic change to the Samoan

culture that lives within Ganton, families began staying inside,

some went as far as even leaving the state.

This allowed gangs who rivalled take over the territory that

was once ran by "SOS".
